Thanks for TriStar trading. Republican City Councilwoman in New York ina Wernikov, who is Jewish, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm on Friday. Police said she was at the college campus between noon and 03:00 P.

m. , where she was seen observing a Palestinian protest taking place. Now, according to the New York City Police Department, while at the protest, the butt end of her handgun could be seen protruding out of the front of her pants. You can see that here in this photo. Of course, being what the world is today. Multiple people took pictures and videos of Vernikov, which were then shared all over social media.

The police were soon notified and NYPD contacted her after she left the rally. The 39 year old City Councilwoman turned herself into the New York PD early on Friday, along with her attorney. Now, Vernikov is an attorney as well. We’ll see if that has anything to do with what might happen going forward. She was arrested in charge. She also surrendered her little nine millimeter Smith and Wesson handgun and her carry permit.

Now, even though Wernikov had a license for concealed carry of a firearm, new York law, which obviously supersedes the US constitution, new York law states that individuals cannot carry a gun on school grounds or at protests, even with a license. New York also bans open carrier firearms, and since you saw the picture, she didn’t really do a good job concealing that gun, so she’s getting jammed on that as well.

Now, city council speaker Adrian Adams released a statement calling Vernikov’s actions unacceptable and unlawful. Are they though? Are they? We’ll get to that. And it should be noted also, the City Council is investigating the impact of Councilmember Wernikov’s actions and the disposition within the legal process on her participation in the body. What does that mean? They’re looking to fire her and oust her for exercising her Second Amendment in the city of New York, god forbid, the City Council’s Progressive Caucus interesting that they have a progressive Caucus, but they released a statement as well calling for Wernikov to face an investigation and expulsion by the Council’s Ethics Committee.

So they’re coming after her play. Let’s play the scenario game here, okay? Because when you are in court for a self defense issue now, granted, nothing happened where she had to defend herself, but these are factors that are considered. We have an American female american. I say that specifically because she has rights, second Amendment rights here, to keep and bear arms. Even though she lives in a Communist nation called New York, she is of small stature.

Those are factors that weigh in heavily when it comes to decisions one might make. She chose to exercise her Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms while attending a protest where people there were openly calling for the murder of people of her faith. All right, let’s be honest here. So could have something broken off where she would have had to defend herself. Yeah, it’s possible, right? And that’s all you need, is you don’t even need a reason.

This is america. You have a right to keep and bear arms. Now, also, was it smart for her to attend? Perhaps not, but this is America. You can go anywhere you want at any time. It’s a free country. And just like I defended Kyle Rittenhouse for being where he was, this city councilwoman in New York can be wherever she wants. It’s America. However, New York laws blatantly violate the United States Constitution and the Second Amendment, and that resulted in her getting arrested and possibly removed from her position on the city council.

Now, perhaps this is exactly what is needed to fuel the removal of not only the Concealed Carry Improvement Act in New York, which is being challenged in five lawsuits right now. Second Circuit is taking their sweet ass time with this one because they know that there’s nothing they can do to defend it. But this might cause more focus not only on the text history and tradition, like Bruin says, but with everything going on in the world right now, countries who restricted people’s rights to have guns because they don’t have a Second Amendment realize real quick that need is legitimate.

All while this country is trying in certain pockets to remove that right as fast as they can. What do you guys and gals think down below? This is one of those ones. I’m about to head to a plane, and I’m going to have some time to read some comments. So I want to see the comments on this video. This is the scenario. What are your thoughts? I want to hear.

She has a right to keep and bear arm. She even went through the process of getting a permit in New York, which is she considered the elite class. I don’t know if she had it before she became a Councilwoman. But it’s tough to get that even after Bruin. And she’s in an area where her governor, her city, her mayor have made a gun free zone. And she made the choice to have her tools, which many of us do.

But was she smart in wearing it the way she did? Those are things I want to hear from you all. This is a good one to tear apart. Although she was right in doing what she did, and her arrest is unconstitutional. And the people who perpetrated her arrest are acting against their oath. That’s what I say would say. You guys and gals, thank you for your time. If you are into the Second Amendment, then subscribe to this channel.

I’ll bring it to you every single day. Subscribe to the channel down below. I’ll see you all in the next one. Have a great day. Take care. You. Sam. .
