My Insurance Just Got Canceled

But let’s get into it. Before I cover my insurance, I want to cover something else that was sent to me that is crazy. And that is cities, municipalities and insurance companies are using drones right now to inspect houses all around the country. There is a geospatial company that covers what they say is 90% of the United States right now. And if you have a homeowner’s issue, there is a good chance that they could inspect your house and cancel your policy.

Now, first things first, Cindy Picos, she lives in Auburn, California, and she went out to get renew her policy, but she got notified by her insurance company, CSAA. Listen to this guy. Hello. How are you, handsome? Okay, CSAA notified her. Now think about this one. Your roof looks like it only has ten years of life. And we flew a drone over it. And as a result of the drone inspection, you are no longer going to have insurance through us.

We’re going to cancel your policy. Not that her roof was bad, but her roof had ten years of life on it. That’s insane, guys. Ten years? A decade. Okay? That the roof looks like it’s going to last through normal circumstances and they cancelled her policy. Crazy, crazy Marilyn Smith. She can’t get insurance because they keep doing drone footage over her house and determine that the house does not look insurable.

Okay? So you’re going to see this happen more and more and more right now. And what that means is you’re. Look at these guys. You guys want some food? Yeah. That’s what this is. So it’s a shakedown. Okay, I hear you, I hear you. Okay, so, okay. They got food whether you like it or not. I don’t care. It’s good burp. See? Anyways, Marilyn Smith bad, you know, property, different situation, you know, than Maryland because they just say that her house is a mess and that they can’t insure it.

Now flash forward, guys, to everything that’s happening right now. The insurance companies are looking for ways not to write policies. I’m telling you guys, I want to remind you something. When I was a kid, my family had me do everything for their construction company. And one thing that I did a tremendous amount of was go out money and get building permits. And one thing that happened in the eighties was they came up with aerial photography over area.

They did aerial maps and they would just take pictures and have these flyovers over houses. What certain higher end cities did. Anaheim, California, Huntington beach, where I’m at, did this too. Santa Ana, California, is that they took the aerial photographs from the last time they had them issued to this time and to make sure that people got building permits. And they had wacky stuff on there. They had people that put pools in without a permit, people that put second story additions on that never got a building permit because they could see from the aerial photographs what people had done and what they hadn’t done.

Now, the worst thing was, let’s say you’re going to get a permit for something that has nothing to do with the structure, you know, plumbing inside the house or anything. Hey, listen, is this an addition that was put in the back of the house? I don’t know. I haven’t been to the house. Just getting the permit. Well, it looks like it is. Please let these people know that we’re going to inspect the house.

And if it is, we will have them rip it down or make sure it’s brought to code. Talking about a disaster for people that happened. I know somebody that inherited his parents house. City came out and just said, you know what? Before we do the title transfer to you, we need to make sure all the stuff is permitted. None of it was. So he couldn’t afford to rip the, the structures down, so I had to sell the house.

Okay. You’re going to see this happen more and more and more again. Okay? So get ready, guys. Hey, I’m never going to sell my house. Famous last words, guys. People get. I have a friend whose dad’s in the hospital right now and then sent to a care facility. And I said, please understand how deep my knowledge is and all this stuff and that this place is not a place for care and rehabilitation.

It’s a place to send people to die. So you need to get your dad out of there. And after literally not a day, 3 hours, wow. Dan’s right. We gotta get my dad out of here. Okay. You’re going to see more and more situations where things are not the way they’re supposed to be. Insurance companies are going to cancel more policies. You’re going to see more problems like this than we’ve ever seen before.

Now let’s go to my situation. I’ve had the same doctor for almost 20 years now and for my health. Okay. And during this time, you know, in the last 20 years, I went up and down financially and had insurance. Didn’t have insurance. So one, I didn’t have insurance. I still went to my doctor. What can we work out? If I got sick now, of course, if I broke a leg or had a heart attack, I would have been doomed.

But, you know, he was kind and worked things out. Well, now I have insurance and I just got notified from Blue Shield that they’re no longer working with my doctor’s crew. And what this is, is, please understand, because of payment disputes, no, blue Shield doesn’t want to pay. Now understand this. I ran medical conferences and have had conversations, extensive conversations with my doctor about the difficulties in getting paid, Dan, and how difficult this is.

So I’m sure it’s not the doctor’s group. I’m sure it’s blue Shield not wanting to pay for things. Now, understand this. The co pays and the office visits and things like that, they charge us for it, okay? And they’re not paying on time. So please understand. Maybe your doctor, if you want to stay with the same practitioner, maybe you can move to a different doctor’s group. No, he practically owns the group.

I know he owns the building that he, that he works out of, but this guy’s not some flake. And it’s the guy that I want to take care of my health as I become an old man. Okay? Anyways, you’re going to see this happen more and more now. This week I get to work on this and deal with the insurance and deal with what I would do moving forward in the future for my health.

It’s kind of a big water area. I’m going to walk around, but we’re all going to experience this. Guys. If you think the status quo is going to stick, you are kidding yourself. You’re playing games with yourself and it’s not going to happen. And I’m telling you, if you have done something wrong on your property, you’ve built something. Maybe we should have got a permit for that. Joan, you should have, or you need to figure it out, because the advances from where they were to where they are now are night and day.

Now, with my research for this video, what you’re seeing is like the house I live in. The community will sit there. Based on the number of houses in that area and how many people are insured, they will fly over with the drone. Now, I had somebody knock on the door last week and say, hey, we’re with the solar inspection company and we’re going to fly drones over your house for solar.

Have a nice day, sir. I don’t believe you. I think it’s for the insurance companies, but have a nice day. That was the end of the conversation. Just letting you know, sir. If you see the drones, don’t react. Don’t shoot them down is what they’re trying to say. Okay, so anyways, you’re gonna see this more and more. So let me know what you think about this. But if you don’t think that they will not cancel your policy, you are kidding yourself.

I don’t care what state you live in, I don’t care what municipality, I don’t care. You know, it’s not fair, it’s not right. We have rights, blah, blah, blah. All the stuff in the air. Look at that. You guys always freak out over this. Okay, so let me know, guys, share your thoughts on this stuff because if they can cancel policies, they’re going to cancel policies. How can we get rid of health insurance claims? You know, how do we get rid of the old people? Think about this.

Maybe my group is a bunch of 50, 60 and 70 year old people, but we don’t want to insure those people. Those people get sick. Okay? You just don’t know. But you’re going to hear shenanigans about price arguments and payment arguments and nonsense. Okay? Remember, nonsense. Okay. Let me know what you think so far. Bank jugging is getting robbed. Leaving your bank with cash, ladies and gentlemen, so be very careful. We’ve covered this extensively, but now they’re putting signs only because I guarantee you someone at that bank got taken advantage of and robbed. The second one is Jerry. We’ve all seen different incentives to buy houses. It’s my favorite one right now. $250 in free tacos if you buy the house, which is kind of funny, guys.

It’s like, hey, funny. You guys like carne asada? You like Al pastor? What’s your deal? You like corn or flour tortillas? What’s wrong with you? You like flautas? Could be the only one. No one’s ever said, let’s go get flautas. Remember that final, final thing is this has been national news. National news again. A year ago, I filmed a street that houses slid into the back bay of Newport beach.

And it’s happening again and again. They rip the houses down immediately and start pumping the water out of the hill. Take a look at this real quick. Well, it’s happened again, guys. I am in Newport Beach, California, on Galaxy way. Remember a year ago, this is when we had those houses that were falling off the cliff and same thing’s happening again. So they’ve already ripped the house down.

And it’s horrible, you know, so just tragic. But if you don’t think there’s going to be an insurance problem because of this, you’re kidding yourself because this is going to be catastrophic. Okay? But what happens, what happens to that house? What happens to that house, seriously? Okay, they’re in jeopardy, too. But what do you do for insurance? Are they going to insure the entire street or they’re just going to cancel it? You know, let me know what you think about this because it’s going to be awful.

Okay? And it’s tragic again. Multimillion dollar properties that are destroyed because of rain. Think they have an insurance problem over there? Yeah. Yeah. To say the least. I’m going to finish this video with these last couple stories. The first one is cocoa, which I didn’t think much about. Coco’s gone up 150% this year. Okay. Just through the roof. Now, the next thing that’s gone up dramatically, and it went up twelve and a half percent in the last week.

And that is Arabica coffee beans, which is hell, okay? Because let’s face it, what’s better than coffee? Seriously, you could eliminate this. Some of your friends, your irresponsible neighbor, you know, you know, your idiot, you know, son in law, but you can’t get rid of coffee. Don’t ever forget that. A rabbit could. Beans are going through the roof and they’re saying that it could go much higher. And I know a friend that’s invested in a coffee company and got on the phone with him today.
