Donald Trump’s trial has been going on now for seemingly ever and it’s finally beginning to wrap up maybe by the end of this week If not, then by the end of next week You should actually have a verdict and it’s been so boring and uneventful that it’s costing the liberal media viewers because It’s just the same old stories that everybody has heard time and time again for years But now that the prosecution has wrapped up their case and it’s the defense’s turn Yesterday they got Michael Cohen to admit on the stand that he stole thirty thousand dollars from Donald Trump by falsifying business records the same alleged crime that they’re accusing Donald Trump of doing by not listing that the payment to Michael Cohen for Taking care of the sloppy Daniels issue Wasn’t listed pay hush money to sloppy Daniels And so this is the key witness in the entire case against Donald Trump admitting that he Committed the very crime that they’re accusing him of doing and when the key witness says things like this on his own podcast A clip which was played for the jury.

It doesn’t exactly make them look like an impartial person Revenge is a dish best served cold and you better believe I want this man to go down and rot inside for what he did To me and my family need this to say not even the liberal media can spin what just happened and Now they are in a panic because there is a high likelihood that at least one of the jurors is not gonna go along with this Sham and it could very well be a hung jury next week I don’t know how much they can do to fix that it just at a certain point It is the fact Michael Cohen did steal this money and what makes that really so important wolf is It’s not as if Michael Cohen was just stealing on the side.

That would be bad enough The problem is he was stealing from the exact reimbursement at issue in this case So the prosecution’s core argument is Donald Trump knew what that four hundred twenty thousand dollars was all about He was totally read in on it turns out Michael Cohen was stealing from him within that four hundred twenty thousand The reason that they’re talking about four hundred and some thousand dollars instead of a hundred and thirty thousand which was paid to sloppy I think it’s because Michael Cohen had to pay income tax on the reimbursement And so then that payment was just increased so that after the taxes were paid He would be made whole for the hundred and thirty that he paid to sloppy and then there were some other Legal services in there as well.

They’re paying a tech firm to do something and then that’s where Michael Cohen ripped them off Padding the invoice and then pocketing tens of thousands of dollars There’s Michael Cohen’s acknowledgement admission that he stole tens of thousands of dollars from the Trump organization Potentially opened him up opened him up to further criminal criminal process It’s a great question. The answer is not anymore because the statute of limitations has run out But it’s a very fair question to ask g folks of the jury. They gave him a free pass. He committed larceny It’s a higher degree of a felony than what Donald Trump is charged with yet They gave Michael Cohen a free pass even though he’s now admitted that he stole what amounts to sixty thousand dollars It goes to his credibility.

It goes to his relationship with the DA Tell us more clown news how disappointed you are that the key witness to this entire case Has turned out to be an obvious fraud himself What this also does is it puts the onus on Michael Cohen? It was Michael Cohen who arranged this scheme the repayment scheme if he’s the one fudging to Alan Weisberg And lying about this and twisting that it puts more of it on him than either Weisberg or certainly on Donald Trump And so far there is no direct link Proved and beyond a reasonable doubt to the defendant in this alleged conspiracy.

There is a lot of evidence that has been presented There’s testimony from Michael Cohen. There’s testimony from others about conversations But that is the goal of the defense team and this right here this line of questioning so far They have established that Cohen may have lied in order to get some of this money Please tell us more about how concerned you are that this may throw the entire case, correct? I am quite frankly shocked by what I have just heard I mean, I can tell you having worked at DOJ for seven and a half years you go through training Like your first week on the job and like day two It’s how to handle witnesses and fronting bad facts.

And I was listening when we read back the transcript on how the prosecution Handled these payments and it’s like they glossed over the fact that this could be considered stealing and in my mind I can’t figure out why they did that because they were so meticulous in Explaining all of Michael Cohen’s other lies in contextualizing this and this is a lie that cuts at the heart of the Evidence in the evidence in the case the clip cuts off there, but she’s right as an attorney herself She can’t believe how the prosecutors just thought that this is gonna get glossed over by the defense But leave it to MSNBC Lawrence O’Donnell to coin a new euphemism for stealing Later when Cohen was asked about that on redirect by the prosecution It didn’t really sound like stealing thirty thousand dollars It sounded a lot like Michael Cohen doing the little that he could within that calculation To rebalance The bonus he thought he deserved and it still came out as less than the bonus He thought he deserved and the bonus you’ve got in the year before so Michael Cohen admits that he stole the money It’s unquestionably a crime.

He committed fraud He committed larceny and he did it He said because Donald Trump didn’t pay him as big of a bonus that year that he has in Previous years probably because he was spending tons of his money on his presidential campaign that year So Michael Cohen just thought according to MSNBC Lawrence O’Donnell. He would just Rebalance the bonus on his own rebalancing But there was another major hole discovered in this entire case because Michael Cohen testified that He made a phone call to Donald Trump to confirm that the sloppy Daniels payment was made right after he paid her off And that’s supposed to be the key evidence that links Donald Trump to knowing that the payment was going to be made in advance Instead of just paying legal fees from Michael Cohen submitting an invoice But then on cross examination, it turns out that the phone call that he claimed that he made.

Turns out to be well wait for it Michael Cohen had one job to do and that was to put Donald Trump in the room and to have job Donald Trump Part of the conversation concerning the making of false entries in the books and records of the Trump Organization in order to influence the Election false entries of the misdemeanor elevated to a felony because it’s in furtherance of another crime Which is election into election interference election for it one job to do and he couldn’t do it on something So simple tell us about a conversation and the worst part of it is on direct He sounded so convincing he sounded so smooth so good It was such a good day for the prosecution Described the conversation and then completely shoots the pooch where it looks like that conversation Absolutely actually never Happened done this clown over at MSNBC Ari Melber who is an attorney took a full minute to brace the audience for his point Which I will just cut right to the chase when he said this If there is reasonable doubt, it might have very well been raised Tuesday and today with mr.

Cohen and the way that the the Trump defense again, I’m just calling balls and strikes here. The Trump defense has been again I’m sorry to have to break this honest news to you, but there’s no way for me to possibly spin this in our favor Able to raise valid questions about well When did you really stop lying and why did you say you’re not obsessed if you wrote you were obsessed and Why did you have a different? characterization of a very big event in your life, which was The rejection the professional rejection of Donald Trump even before you’re falling out that he wouldn’t bring you to the White House Which you thought as the self-declared fixer would be your payoff I am NOT reporting that that means there’s no case or that he lied But I am reporting those are the kind of things unlike the other crosses we’ve seen what what he’s talking about is the reason why? Michael Cohen took it upon himself to go to such lengths to make the Stormy Daniels issue go away taking out a home equity line of credit in order to get the money to pay her off is because that was his way of Sucking up to Donald Trump trying to show how loyal and how much he has his back.

Thinking that he would then get a position in the Trump administration and then when that didn’t happen Then Michael Cohen turned on him And I got to admit that last year oftentimes Donald Trump would sound pretty tired pretty Dressed out pretty worn out pretty old Because all of this was weighing on him and he is no spring chicken anymore, but Since it doesn’t even matter if he gets convicted It’s not even gonna do anything and so now he is seeming like his old self again Terrible But Americans are not struggling, you know, this is the worst plot the podium just Who put this stage up and this is the way the frickin place is falling down.
