Right. People’s got mental health problems. Some of them are what we call poop artists, where they actually smear in their feces all over the cell walls and stuff. Talk to the walls. Now, the average citizen out there might not see that, and they don’t realize that’s what these custody officers day in and day out deal with in a jail setting. Excuse me. And that’s why it’s so important to understand. And the more you have a volunteer posse, the more you can be in the know. This is one thing people don’t realize.
The more you can be in the know of what your sheriff is doing, what the jails really look like, you know, if you’re a member of the posse, you’re going to be meeting with the sheriff. As he mentioned, they have a meeting tomorrow night for his County. You’re going to meet with the sheriff. You’re going to meet with a lot of the deputies. You’re going to get to know a lot of these people involved, and you’re going to kind of start to understand what it really takes to do this. Now, Dean or Gene, I’m sorry, asked a question that said, Hey, when do I start my training? I’m a juice on Arizona.
Um, and hey, I paid my dues to the CSP way. That’s great. This is part of the training that we’re offering right now. When you go to our conferences, you get training. When you go to these webinars, you get training. Uh, Bob song or just mentioned that he’s willing to meet with your sheriff and provide you some guidance. This Stephanie just sent out a link for you to gain more. We have this training manual from Bob Songer that we’re willing to share. I mean, I’m just on a training. Is that your fingertips, Jack? Absolutely.
And, uh, sure. So I wanted to get your opinion on this as I brought this up today to Sam is one of the topics, but in New York state there, they just, in the last, says in the last 48 hours, Cuomo passed a law that requires ammunition dealers to do background checks, create a registry of assault weapons, prohibits possession of high capacity magazines, um, possessed no more than seven rounds in a magazine report stolen guns within 24 hours, register assault weapons with the state face felony charges. If, if you own more than three firearms and possess no more than 10 rounds in a magazine, if it has a large capacity, um, I mean, this is the sort of thing that a, that a sheriff, like in your capacity would be immediately saying, no, no, no, no.
I mean, you, you can pass that law, but we’re not going to enforce something like that. How do you correct that is a clear violation of your second amendment rights in my opinion. And I don’t think it takes a mental giant to look at our constitution and see where they’re stomping all over your rights on that. I have people in our county and Washington is not far behind New York there, but anyway, uh, on I 1639 back in 2018 when they passed it or whatever, uh, I told them, I don’t care what the governor says.
I don’t work for him. I work for the people. And if that law is unconstitutional and I, in my opinion, I’m not an attorney and don’t want to be, but I look at that constitution and even a dummy like me can figure out they’re violating your rights. I am not going to enforce it. One guy came to me based on that. Yes. Well, I got a Glock and I have a magazine that holds 17 rounds and I don’t want to get in trouble. If I only load that with 10 rounds, which is unfortunate state still, uh, will I get in trouble? I say, no, you’re not going to get trouble.
Click attack. I don’t care if you got 30 round magazine. So don’t worry about it. But unfortunately, that’s where they’re headed with this. You make a point they’ll pass a law, which is unconstitutional. But then if you violate that, they’ll try to prosecute you. They don’t care that whether they’re violating your rights. If they can prosecute you and make an example out of you and like our governor to be, he brags about how he sued Trump. How many times he never says whether he won or not. But anyway, he’s sued Trump and when they violate our laws here, gun laws in Washington state, the attitude of attorney general and the governor was show us, go ahead, show us.
We’ll fight you with your own tax dollars. And that’s the sad part about it. Yeah, that is sad. No one can stand up against that either. Amen to that. It’s called law fair. It’s out of control. [tr:trw].
