Summary

➡ The CSPOA with Sheriff Mack appreciates the support received and shares an incident where a potential threat was overlooked. A suspicious person was spotted on a building’s roof, but the police didn’t react immediately. The speaker believes that the police should have taken immediate action, like firing a warning shot, to alert everyone, including the suspect. This could have potentially prevented a dangerous situation and led to the suspect’s capture.

Folks, thank you for all that you do, and thank you for your support and best wishes. Like this guy that called me today, he doesn’t have any money, but what he said today really touched my heart. A lot of you really touched my heart. If you have any questions about Trump or anything logistical to get out there that you’d like to hear from a cop, please do. But most of my answers are going to say, we just don’t have enough evidence yet. But from what I saw, it looked like the sniper from the Secret Service was looking right at the suspect.

Do I know that he was? No, I don’t. I’ve never been behind him. None of the videos have ever been behind him. And seeing what he was looking at. But it certainly was in that general direction. And also a big mistake was when the citizens told a local cop, Deputy Sheriff, I don’t know who, a local cop who was near that building where the suspect was, for heaven’s sake, some of these people even took a picture of the guy crawling on top of the roof of that building. But no cop saw him at that time.

Then one cop confronted him, and that cop got a gun pointed at him, and at that time he fell off the shoulders of another cop and hurt his ankle. At that time, that cop should have taken immediate emergency measures to stop the person up there. He should have tried to shoot him. He should have fired a shot in the air. He should have done anything to bring attention to the fact that there was a shooter on that building. So even though in most training, not in most, in all firearms training, you never fire warning shots. This was one bit of time to throw the book in the trash and fire a shot.

That would have been an immediate warning to everyone, including the suspect, that we know he’s there. And at that time, he would have hurried and fired, or he would have run away. And then they could have caught him while he was running away. The officer should have taken some sort of emergency communication action or fired a shot either at the suspect in the general direction of the suspect or just start firing shots. Because every cop there of the 50 to 100 that were there, that would have put them all on notice. Shots are being fired. Then, Trump is removed from the stage and they get him out of there before he was shot instead of after.

That’s all I got to say. [tr:trw].
