At what point do we remove all of the BS and we say, you know what? We so far out of pocket that we gotta get back to the core of who we are.

When I was on a plane yesterday and I was on my way back in between watch and call, I opened up my Bible. I keep my Bible with me. I keep it on my iPad and I opened up my Bible and I was reading it or whatever. I had to start back at the beginning because I really wanted to look at where we went wrong and why Adam had, you know, why the woman had sinned and why the man had hearkened unto the voice of the woman. Literally, he was punished because he had hearkened to the voice of the woman who absolutely disrespected him by going off and cheating on him by kicking him with the serpent in the first place.

And then I started studying, honest to God, I started studying because I needed to detail the lineage and I looked at Cain, right? And as Cain sinned, you know, because he killed Abel because his countenance fell and he was angry at Abel because Abel had did the right thing and he had gave his first and the best of what he had unto God which then multiplied what he had made against, you know, did. But then I had to trace it back up to Adam and then I came back and I started looking at the lineage of Cain and Lamech and, you know, I started looking at Seth and I looked at his lineage and all of this stuff because Seth had came afterwards in order to replace and the woman said, oh, you know, God has given me another son and all of this stuff.

And I started tracing the lineage and I went all the way through and then I went into Exodus and Leviticus and then up numbers and then I started detailing and do the Romany and then I stayed up in that. I woke up at two o’clock in the morning this morning and I had to go deep dive again and I went back into numbers again and I started studying it and I said, where do we go wrong? Where do we go wrong? How did these people become our gods? How did these celebrities come and incentivize us with song and dance? What has Michelle Obama ever done that would lead you to believe that she has your best interest at heart? Why is Usher out there? Plies.

What has Plies got to do with this? Lizzo. What are these people doing? Why are they parading in front of our faces and trying to convince us that taking out babies because that’s the only thing that they standing on that taking out unwanted pregnancies is the thing that’s best for us? What are they getting out of this? Beyonce. What are they getting out of this? What’s the incentive behind it? What you get out of it? When they called you and said, rock out with me, what did you get out of it? Why do we listen to these people just because they can sing and we can acknowledge their greatness and acting and singing and stuff like that.

That’s just what it is. They’re pretending to be something that they’re not. They’re even even the lyrics and the performances that they’re giving is written by somebody else. You don’t know these people. You don’t know what they got going on in their household. You don’t know what they got issues with. You don’t know what kind of trouble they in. You don’t know what kind of deals they making and what kind of souls they selling to the devil. You don’t know nothing about these people. You worship them and you have no clue who they are and what they about.

You’ll do anything to get made presence. That’s why Diddy became so powerful. That’s why Epstein became so powerful. That’s why the CEO of Amber Crombie and Fitch became so powerful, the former CEO. You know why? Because you so busy worshiping anything other than the very thing that God has told you to pay attention to. And as a result, everything and everybody is in your ear. And so you not even making a decision for yourself, you letting them make the decision for you. And all they had to do is put a sweet melody in your ear.

To dance. Sing. Act. But when you start to see the core of these people, they’re rotten to the core of who they are. To their core, they’re rotten. But we worship them and we give them all of this credence and all of this visibility and we give them our money. We give them our money. We pay them to tell us something that they don’t even live in their real life. We will go out of our way and lose resources, lose money. You don’t even get up to go to your own son’s basketball game.

You missed that because you tired, boss. You don’t do nothing for your own self. You don’t take care of nothing that you got to do. But when they come to town, scratch it off. Some of y’all ain’t been to church since your mother made you go to church in your lifetime. And stop making the excuse to me and keep telling me, well, you know, I don’t like the way that, then find another one. The same way that you didn’t like that song and you cycled through and you found another one that you like.

The same way you didn’t like that artist and then you found another one that you didn’t like. Go find your church home. Go find your tribe. Go find your people. It ain’t even got to be church. Go align yourself with the people that’s supposed to be going in the direction that you’re going in. But you know what you do? You make sure that when she come to your town, that you mark that off and it ain’t nothing to nobody that’s going to come between you and Yahtzee. You and Meg The Stallion.

You and your favorite band. You will make time for them and you don’t call out to God or anything or add any value into your life until you completely in the rest. You got to go to prison. You got to be on your last leg. You got to be at the end of your rope in order to acknowledge anything that God has ever done to you and he’s still with you. He’s still protecting you. You completely ignore your own mother if you ain’t talked to your mother in weeks and months.

You ain’t talked to your dad. You don’t know nothing about it. Some of y’all don’t even know who your kids are, but you will show up for Yahtzee. You’re going to make sure that you get there to get Meg The Stallion. I’m going to show up to the polls because Yahtzee told me to. You don’t even know yourself. You ain’t visited your own therapists. Don’t know nothing about what you got going on in your own life. Your life is in shambles, shambles, but you can’t wait to make sure that you give them your money and give them your vote of confidence and you know what they do? They take your money and then they go back to their mansions.

They 250 million dollar mansions. They fly in and get 10 million to give you a speech and then they go back to their mansion and they party with their friends and they do their own little thing and they got their own little freak-offs. They’ve been selling poison to your community and you bought it. You sold it. You so invested in their life and you don’t know nothing about the person that you land next to. They don’t know you. They don’t know you. You forget your own husband’s birthday but you know when Beyonce’s birthday is.

You follow him on Twitter. You know all of LeBron James stats. You know all of these celebrities everything about them. Worship them like they gods and they don’t have a heaven or hell to put you in but they can definitely lead you down a path into the lake of fire and we take their advice. We don’t even look at them as entertainment anymore. They the court just don’t you realize that the Beyonce’s the mega stallions the LeBron James and all these people were just performers. These were the court gestures back in the day and medieval times they was the ones that kept us entertained.

They distracted us from the problems that we had to deal with on a regular basis but they’ve elevated themselves now because they become profitable to then be something more than anything other than just entertainment and court gestures. That’s it. We buy their shoes. We watch their style. We sing their songs. They up here giving you all of these slave movies and they living in a mansion. They got white servants and they selling you on the fact that you still a slave. She up there standing on talk about and my daughter and my sons and you ain’t never gonna get next to blue.

You never blue don’t know you. Blue don’t know you but Jay-Z don’t care nothing about what these celebrities think no more. They people they got insecurities they watch social media to see what people say about them. They feel a certain type of way. The people that you made your gods they weak. They’ve been promoted to you by a system and they’re given to you by people that want you to believe a certain thing in order for them to continue to fatten their pockets. You believe in these people. They didn’t even believe in themselves.

You believe in somebody who didn’t even believe in themselves and they gave them to you as a figurehead to inspire you to do something that’s profitable for them but not what’s best for you. Take money out of your community and bring it back to themselves. Never gave you nothing except for death and destruction. Y’all say we’re single. All my single ladies guess what her man was cheating on her and she stayed with him. Her man cheated on her and she stayed with him but she gave y’all independence. What? How that makes sense and you worship these people.

I say this with everything in me and my heart and my core. I never cared about a celebrity. I don’t care if you hoop. I don’t care if you sing. You don’t mean nothing to me. You are a human being.
