I have never even spoken to Mr. Musk, but this kindness he has done me and many others, I feel is something you only see in the movies. I am so grateful to him and the ex platform. Without ex, we truly would not know the truth of what is happening around the world. Hey gang, it’s me Dr. Steve and in our current cultural battle with all of this woke insanity seemingly knowing no bounds, for me, I think the most perniciously despicable development in all of this is the way Disney has been aggressively pushing a blatantly leftist woke agenda.
Gone are the days when animated films were merely a source of joy and imagination for our kids. Instead, they’ve chosen to implant radical. I’m talking radical ideologies in the minds of impressionable young people perpetuating harmful narratives that undermine the very values that we as conservatives hold dear. And that’s why we see people like Elon Musk, God bless him, along with Gina Carano, rising up and suing Disney to push back against this absurd insanity. I make no mistake, Elon is in this all the way. He’s literally attacking the woke mind virus everywhere he goes, especially when it comes to kids.
But to put it bluntly, this indoctrination attempt, but not only Disney, but by many others, it is not by accident. It is a calculated strategy employed by these corporate behemoths that has long held a monopoly over children’s entertainment. They’ve exploited the trust, the loyalty of families who are unwittingly funding this ideological onslaught through subscriptions and movie purchases. Yet when confronted about their controversial content, Disney remains largely silent. They emphasize that the the narratives they push are for acceptance and tolerance, while genuine inquiries about the moral ramifications of what they’re pushing are just dismissed.
Unfortunately, as we all know, as more families fall prey to Disney’s stealthy infiltration, the fabric of our society comes under greater threat. Our children are becoming vessels for leftist propaganda, who intend to mold their imaginations to hate our nation, hate our customs, our unique way of life, our freedoms, our liberties, and embrace instead a radical and divisive ideology. Joining me today is a longtime veteran of the culture wars, Chris Widener, a good friend of mine. And what I love about Chris is Chris has long recognized that if you’re going to fight a culture war, you got to have a culture.
If you want to fight a culture war, you got to have a culture a unique and distinct culture to both fight for and fight with. And so Chris is here to share solutions that many families have found very helpful equipping them with tools to reclaim their viewing choices amid this growing concern. Just click the link below or scan the QR code to find out more about Chris and his company Q streaming and how they’re offering a far more pro family streaming alternative. Chris, it’s always great to have you back. Welcome, my friend.
Thanks for having me. I appreciate it. Well, it’s my pleasure, man. So give us a sense of what’s going on here with Disney. You’re on the front lines of this. Am I missing something or did I hit it? Is Disney really intentionally trying to infest kids with wokeness? Oh, absolutely. They all are. In fact, I saw some actor, I can’t remember who it was, but he was talking about how the most profitable movies are G rated movies. But G rated movies only make up 30% of the movies. And so what is happening is, is there are executives who are saying, you know what, we could make money.
Well, yeah, let’s make money about 30% of the time. But let’s also do some of these other things which are typically going after, you know, going after Christian morals and those kinds of things. But they’ve even started putting it into the G rated movies. Now you have to have a gay character and every, you know, you got to have a gay mouse or a gay dog or, you know, whatever. One of the cartoon characters is gay because you just, well, you know, they have to be right. And so one of the things that Q streaming does is we, we bypass all of those Paramount plus, we bypass YouTube TV, we bypass Cox and, and all of those kinds of companies, your, your typical cable company, which charge you 120, 150, I think YouTube TV now is 75 or 80, but Q streaming is only 59.95 a month.
And so, and I can tell you a little bit here in the next couple of minutes, a little bit about what you get when you do that. But it’s a great parallel economy. It’s right conservatives who said, we don’t want to keep funding because the other thing is when you pay money to prime prime videos is a good example or Netflix or whatever you pay them their money. And you pay them their TV shows or whatever, but what do they do? They take some of your money and they fund BLM and they fund Planned Parenthood.
Kamala the CEO of Netflix gave millions to Kamala. Yeah. Yeah. And so they’re taking your money and they’re using it against you. And that’s never going to happen with Q streaming. It’s owned by conservatives for conservatives. Oh, I love it. Owned by and for conservatives. Do you, do you have a sense just of how all of this wokeness made its way into corporations like Disney and, and, and why they are literally so hell bent on, on shoving this down our kids’ throats. Yeah. I think it’s because they, um, you know, America used to be a Judeo Christian country and even the people who weren’t Jews or Christians, they still kind of lived under the Judeo Christian principles, right? The worldview.
But starting in the 1960s, and this is, you know, this is portrayed in Robert Bork’s book slouching towards Gamora written in 1999, 30 years after it started. Now you read it 25 years after he wrote it, you go, wow, he was dead, right? Yeah. They, they decided that they, it was a shift from a Judeo Christian worldview to now half the country is a, is a Marxist, secular, humanist, anti-capitalist God is dead worldview. And so you have those folks who now control schools, they control media, they control Hollywood, they control, you know, government in many ways, maybe not necessarily the elected position, but most of the bureaucracy.
And so I think one of the reasons they do it is because it’s who they are. And when you’re a Marxist, you hate God. And so one of the things you do is you undermine God and God’s people. I love that. I couldn’t agree with you more as C.S. Lewis, in effect, said that what makes the modern world so unique is its ability to wield power. I’m thinking of his book, The Abolition of Man, its ability to wield power. We have power capabilities that Roman emperors could only dream of. And so when all is said and done, the modern world is about control.
It’s about manipulation. It’s about coercion. And so they use ideology as a way of furthering their grip of power. So, so wokeness, in effect, hollows us out morally, it hollows out our moral life, and particularly the moral life of our kids. So we become incapable of dissenting from the powers that be. And they use your morality against you. Well, aren’t you a Christian? Yeah, aren’t you supposed to love your neighbor? Well, he’s a drag queen. Love him. Okay, well, I can love him, but I can also tell him there’s a better way in Christ.
And you’re right, right. Exactly. Tell him about Christ, if you love him. If you didn’t love him in the first place, of course. That’s always found I always found that very strange, because what I’ve noticed my own personal experience, but I think it’s just logically, I mean, conservatives, because of our we’re so inundated with Christianity, we still see the woke as the image of God, we still have this empathy for them. We still, there’s still this sense of of love that’s extended to them. We radically disagree with them, we’ll fight every fiber of our being against what they’re trying to do.
But we don’t dehumanize, we don’t call them garbage. You think about it, when I think about a transgender person, I, I try to, you know, when Jesus in Matthew, chapter nine, Jesus, it says he entered Jerusalem, and he looked at the crowds, and he had compassion on them, because they were like cheap without a shepherd. And so we must as Christians, we must see people with compassion. I cannot for the life of me imagine what it must be like to be inside the mind of a transgender person, and the inner turmoil, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, the pain, and we must have compassion, but we must tell them the truth.
It’s why the Bible says we have to speak the truth in love, in love, but we speak the truth. And most people are either all about the truth, which means you’re kind of just a jerk, right? They’re all about quote unquote, love, you know, you’re all about love. We’ve met a few of those guys all about the jury. Oh, I love that. That’s well said. All right. So what hope is there for people wanting to still enjoy good wholesome content, but they don’t want to fund these woke institutions. Q streaming is an amazing platform.
Here’s here’s some just great things about it. Number one, there’s like 40,000 movies in the library. So you pull it in, you log in, you log in, you type in the movie, bam, there it is play, you can watch it on your desktop, your laptop, your phone, your, your iPad, you can put it up on your TV, I have a big giant 72 inch screen TV, I downloaded the app. And then when I want to watch something, I click on Q streaming, it pops up. Here’s if they’ve got all the movies, they’ve got every series you can possibly imagine you want to go back and watch all of Gilligan’s Island, it’s there, you want to go watch all of the Sopranos, it’s there.
But one of the really cool things is is you can watch local television of the major network. So I’m from Seattle, I live in Chattanooga now, let’s say that I heard something was going on in Seattle. And I wanted to watch the news, I just go to local TV, I look at Seattle, and it’s going to give me ABC NBC CBS. And I’m going to click on ABC news, and I’ll go watch the local affiliate news in Seattle, you can watch local TV, there’s 1000s of local affiliates in in the system.
So I have a friend of mine who actually he lives in Buffalo, half the year, and he lives in Florida half the year. And so when he’s in Florida is when the bills are playing. So he watches the bills, and then the Buffalo bills. But when he’s in Buffalo, it’s when the hockey team is playing down in Florida. And he watches the Florida from Buffalo because he just pulls up the local channels, they’ve got sports, they’ve got every major entertainment, you know, HBO, Paramount, they got them all all under one roof, 60 bucks a month, pretty, pretty amazing.
Oh, and by the way, you can have five account holders. So my wife and I we live in Chattanooga, we got a daughter in Dallas, we got a daughter in Madison, Wisconsin, all of us can have our own account up to five accounts. And when you can all be watching it, my daughter and Madison can watch it on her on her iPad, the daughter in Dallas can watch it on her desktop, we can be watching it here on her television, all under separate accounts, you get five accounts for 60 bucks, you know, 30 40,000 movies, every major television series of all time, all the local affiliates, you get Major League Baseball, NFL, hockey, it’s it’s really, really truly an amazing deal.
And but a platform, like you said, for conservatives by conservatives, right? This is this is, again, this is parallel economy streaming here. This is not your no, no money is going to be spent on Kamala or no money is going to no money going to Planned Parenthood. Nothing. Right, right. That’s what I love about it. It’s because again, nowadays, because of consumer politics, wherever we’re spending our money, we have to know that whatever you’re spending that money on, it’s going to take that money and use it politically, in some ways, shape or form, it’s almost inevitable.
They all do it. So the question now is, when you are, when you’re buying, you’re not just thinking in terms of boycotting, you’re now thinking of in terms of buy cutting, you want to intentionally spend your money with companies that are going to use it in such a way that defends and champions your values, not works against them. And Q streaming seems to be precisely that. Yeah, I’ve been with them now for almost a year and really enjoy it, really love it. You know, at the beginning, they were, you know, figuring kinks out, but then they got it all figured out.
And it’s really simple to use. I just, you can, I could pull it up on my computer here. Or as I mentioned, on our big TV, I just downloaded the app, I have a fire TV, I just downloaded the app. And when I want to watch a movie, I just go there, click on it, type in the name of the movie and away we go. Do you have a website for it? I know we have, we’ve got a link down below. I think we also have a QR code. Yeah, you got it.
Yeah, you want to go through your link and, and everybody you just go check it out. It’s really easy to use. And then you rest easy. I mean, I think it’s Cox or maybe Comcast are like 135 bucks a month. So you take 135 minus the 60 that you’re going to pay for Q at 75 bucks a month or $900 a year in your pocket. Wow. Straight into your pocket. And it’s $900 a month that isn’t going $900 a year that isn’t going to Netflix and Amazon and Comcast and Cox and all those.
Exactly. That’s what I love about the parallel economy too. We’re saving so much more. We’re not having to spend on these big conglomerate corporate behemoths where these are good, solid conservative companies run well, and then they able to pass on the savings. It’s amazing. Yeah, gang, if you want to fight the culture war, you need a culture. There’s just no way around that. We need a culture to both fight for and fight from. And that’s exactly what Q streaming does. So click on that link description below or scan the QR code on the screen.
And let’s take our entertainment dollars back right now today. Do not wait another minute. Do that now. Click these, uh, the click on the description below or scan the QR code and take your entertainment dollars back right now. Chris, thank you so much. Great to see you again, man. Thanks for having me, Dr. Steve. You bet. [tr:trw].
