Toronto, Canada, has seen a rash of home invasion robberies in that one city alone, and it’s up 400% in 2023. So how do we combat that? You know what we do? We just tell you to let the thief steal your car. Leave the key fob by the front door, let the bad guys just take whatever they want and be done with it. Okay? So Marco Ricciotti is a police officer there who let people know at a community meeting that that’s what you should do.

Just let them take whatever they want and issued a statement on this. So once again, the bad guys have guns. You don’t in Canada. And this Barney fife. Andy, let him take the car. You know what I mean? This guy’s an idiot. Okay? An absolute imbecile. Now, here in Orange County, California, where I’m at right now, we have a district attorney named Todd Spitzer, who someday will be governor of California.

Okay? That’s my prediction. But Todd Spitzer has been a DA for a few years now, and he is no nonsense. He is not messing around. And what he believes is something very simple. If you commit a crime in Orange county, we’re going to prosecute you. The number of large crimes that have been committed lately have been by people coming from outside of Orange county. So what did they do? Money that’s been seized from bad guys, drug money, illegal gains that these people have.

The DA has seized that money. And what are they doing with that? They’re using it for an ad campaign to promote the fact that you don’t want to do a crime here in Orange county, because we’re going to prosecute you. So they have these billboards. Here’s one of them. And they’re doing print media, radio. They’re all over the place. Guys on the news don’t commit a crime here because we’re going to get you.

It’s that simple. So, wow, guys. Absolutely. Wow. Wow. So again, Canada. You guys voted for that imbecile Justin Trudeau, and this is what you get, okay? So you have to prosecute criminals. Okay? And again, Barney Fife of the world, telling people just to let them steal your car is crazy. Absolutely crazy. So read the stories below. The next thing is our producer price index, which is wholesale inflation, is up eight tenths of 1%, double what they thought it was going to be.

This is horrific, guys. This is people making things. You can sit there and tell me how affordable everything is, and it’s not. If you go to a restaurant, if you make anything, if you buy lumber, if you buy electrical supplies, everything is through the roof right now. It is absolutely sky high and it is going in the wrong direction. And you can sit there and have Jamie Dimon lie to us and tell us how great the economy is and that everything is good right now.

You’re kidding yourself. There have been massive layoffs since January, and the unemployment numbers here in the states spiked a little bit. Guys, it’s only going to continue to go up. Don’t ever forget that. This is a problem that’s going to get much worse before it gets better. And you can kid yourself and talk about how things are good right now, but they are not. You have to get yourself in a financial state that you do not need to go out and you do not need to buy anything right now.

It is that simple. Okay? Try not to eat out at restaurants. Try not to waste money right now. Try not to do anything that’s unnecessary in your financial life right now. That’s the advice I’m giving clients. It’s the advice I’m giving my friends, family members, everybody. You can waste money all you want. Things are through the roof right now. You’re going to see eventually cars and stuff go down in price dramatically.

That’s going to happen, but it’s just a matter of time until this takes place. Most people don’t want to wait, but trust me, things are going to go down eventually. You’re going to see things have to be liquidated by people that cannot afford them. So many people have purchased cars, and I had somebody send me a video of how could everybody be buying new cars and boats and things like that? They’re financing them.

Guys, you got a car payment, got a boat payment, and as long as you’re making money, you can still swing it even though you’re not affording it, if you know what I mean. Yeah, because they’re so bad for the environment. Again, insanity. Think about this. These pizza ovens, some have been around 50, 60 years, and they want to ban these businesses, okay? Of all the things. And again, there’s no crime in New York City.

Remember that there’s not other problems to worry about in New York City. McDonald’s has issued a statement that, yeah, our food’s too expensive right now. Most poor people are staying home and eating at the house instead of coming to McDonald’s right now. Guys, that is the kiss of death right there. But it gets worse because if you own taco bells in the Oakland area, they’re all closing the dining rooms right now.

No more dining rooms open in the Oakland area. Why? Because of crime. And they’re going to go cashless at most of the taco bells because of the fact that they’re getting robbed by people showing up and just stealing at the taco bells. So what a great place to eat, guys. Fantastic. Alejandro was the car expert that I got to meet last week and drive the cyber truck. He was talking about one company in particular with me, Fisker.

He said that the guy’s a car designer, Dan, and they’ve given this guy billions of dollars and he’s just squandered it. And guess what? He predicted it. They’re going to go bankrupt again. And you know what? They’re going to file bankruptcy again. So congratulations to Alejandro that knows his stuff and knows that industry. But again, the EV car market is insane. Things are too expensive. Not everybody can afford this.

Plus, I got to get this one football player’s name right because this is just lunacy. There was a football player that wanted to buy a cyber truck. And Gier Brown, okay? And he plays for the San Francisco 49 ers, and he signed a $5 million contract, and he got a $900,000 signing bonus. This guy wanted to pay $100,000 above asking price for a cyber truck. I want to be moved to the front of the line.

And again, a fool in his money will soon be parted. And this guy is absolutely squandering his $900,000 bonus. I really think that professional athletes, when they get their first big check, I really think that they should be given just a stipend. They should be given an allowance. This is what you’re allowed to spend for the first three years because not everybody gets to be Jackie Slater and play for 20 years in the NFL.

So share your thoughts on this stuff. Let me know what you think about this. But this guy pissing his money away on a cyber truck to be moved to the front of the line. $100,000. He wanted to pay above the asking price. His financial advisor put an end to it. His financial advisor shouldn’t let this guy walk out of the house with a dollar as far as I’m concerned.

But let me know what you think about this so far. You’re starting to see a lot of problems in the economy with businesses, with business news. Tesla is getting downgraded again. They are considered the biggest loser on the s and P 500 right now, percentage wise, which is kind of fascinating. JPMorgan is now worth more than them. And there’s a big story about that below. Black and Decker, the tool company, the power tool company, they’re closing one of their plants and going to lay off another 200 people.

Guys, it has just been layoff after layoff after layoff in 2024. 2024 is the year of losing your job, is what that is. So let me know about what you think about that. There was a mall operator out of Fulton county in New York, and they’re like, hey, we want to get out of there. Crime is a problem. This place is above a train station, and the police aren’t doing anything to stop the thieves from robbing people in the stores.

Well, it sounds like a great place to shop. So once again, these problems are only getting worse right now, and people don’t want to risk their life. People don’t want to go out and shop people don’t want to spend their hard earned money and run the risk of somebody stealing it. I’m going to finish this video with a few stories. Patty sent me a great story about how she went to Luna.

It was a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona, by Giada de Laurentis from the Food Network. On her check, they were furious because they had a three and a half percent venue fee. And they’re like, what’s this? This is to pay for the building that you’re in. It helps pay for the building. So I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to go out to eat and pay for somebody’s building.

So a three and a half percent venue fee, is that insane, guys? It’s crazy. Absolutely crazy. More and more broke people are staying at home right now and not eating out. So you’re seeing more and more of that. Costco steps forward and says, hey, our memberships are going to, the price is going to stay the same right now, but it’s just a matter of time until we raise the price.

So get ready for the price of a Costco membership. To go through the roof and to have a significant price jump is what they said. The hot dog and soda is still going to be a dollar 50. It’s terrible because I don’t like drinking soda unless it’s got rum in it. So they don’t allow that at Costco. A couple of final things. They broke down the fattest cities in the United States, and I got the list for you below, so you can see if you live in one of the fat cities.

Mostly stuff in the south again. And speaking of the south, they broke down credit card debt. Who’s got the most credit card debt? From the visual capitalist, which is a great site to take a look at. And they break things down with charts and things like that. But guess what? It’s the south. Everybody in the south is upside down financially and they’ve got the highest percentage of credit card debt.

Also, when you look at these numbers, it’s usually the cities where people are losing their jobs and the economy is taking a downturn. So please don’t forget to hit the like button.
