Perhaps it’s about time we start playing hardball with all of these politicians who continue to submit unconstitutional gun control laws in violation of not only their oath and the United States Constitution, but specifically the Supreme Court’s Bruin ruling. Got your attention? Hope so. Hey everybody, welcome back to Guns and Gadgets. My name is Jared, and here on this channel we dive into the latest in Second Amendment news and analysis. And if you’re tired of seeing unconstitutional gun control measures being proposed, you’re in the right place. Today we’re breaking down some recent legislative moves in Pennsylvania and Florida that completely ignore the Supreme Court’s ruling in the Bruin decision.
And we’re talking about what can be done to hold those lawmakers accountable. Before we get started, make sure to hit that subscribe button and turn on all notifications. This channel is your go-to for protecting our rights, and we need your help to grow and spread the message. Now let’s get into this. So here’s the deal. When the Supreme Court makes a ruling, it’s supposed to be respected and followed. The 2022 Bruin decision clarified that any law affecting the Second Amendment must align with this nation’s history and tradition of firearm regulation. Essentially, it set a clear standard.
No more gun control laws that don’t meet constitutional scrutiny. But instead of respecting this decision, some lawmakers are flagrantly ignoring it. Case in point, proposed gun control laws in Pennsylvania and Florida, and New York, and Massachusetts, and California, and the list continues for every communist wannabe anti-gun state. Let’s break them down. But first, let’s thank today’s sponsor, Ammo Squared. Do y’all remember when there was that ammo shortage in 2020? All the store shelves were completely empty. There was nothing available online. Alright, well, there’s this company in Idaho that lets you stockpile ammunition automatically so you have it when you need it.
It’s called Ammo Squared, and they’ve been around since 2015, and they’ve been sponsoring this channel for about a year. You sign up, you pick your caliber. There’s over 70 different calibers to choose from. You set an auto buy budget, and you select your shipping trigger. Ammo accumulates over time, and it’s stored for free until you want it. There are a few benefits to this. If you have a small budget, you can buy it a little bit at a time and let it build up. There’s no minimum, and there’s no extra fees. People always think they’re going to look for sales, but they forget, and then they run out of ammo.
And that prevents that problem if you join Ammo Squared. The other thing to consider is, ammo is stored in a climate-controlled warehouse for you until you request it. No other company does that. Then when you want it, you get it all shipped out to you within one to two business days, and they have free shipping for over $250. Shipping always kills you when you buy ammo online. So there you go. You can auto buy ammo, store it for free until you need it, and then get it shipped on your schedule. This basically takes all of the work out of buying ammunition.
It’s nice. Join the 40,000 plus customers and check out Ammo Squared at AmmoSquared.com and tell them I sent you. Let’s get back to Pennsylvania and Florida. In Pennsylvania, Representative Melissa Schusterman has her sights set on banning so-called ghost guns. They’re words, not mine. She wants to require that 3D printed firearms can only be produced by those who have an FFL, a federal manufacturing license. Now let’s be clear about this. There’s no such thing as a ghost gun. The term is designed to create fear, and that’s what it does. Ghosts. Now Americans have been making firearms at home, on their own, for personal use since before the founding of this country.
That is history. That is tradition. And that’s why this proposal flies in the face of the Bruin decision. Meanwhile, in Florida, Representative Christine Unskowski, she filed the Responsible Gun Ownership Act, which targets ghost guns, pushes for universal background checks, which is a registry, and mandates that private gun sales go through licensed dealers. Unskowski says that it’s about enhancing safety, but let’s be honest, none of these measures actually reduced violent crime, period. Now one criminal is going to say, oops, there’s a new law on the books. I’m going to stop being a criminal.
It’s in the damn definition. Criminals don’t follow the law. Instead, they burden law-abiding citizens and directly contradict the Supreme Court’s clear standard. And given Florida’s Republican rhino-dominated legislature, her bill should have little chance of passing. But they passed all that gun control after her shooting took place and that was Republican controlled then, and they’re really not big fans of, you know, open carry and stuff like that. It’s nothing more than political grandstanding. And guess who’s paying for it? You, the taxpayer. And here’s where it gets serious. These proposals aren’t just bad policy, they represent willful defiance of the judiciary.
When lawmakers knowingly propose or pass laws that clearly violate Supreme Court rulings, they’re not just disrespecting the court, they’re disrespecting the Constitution itself. Now Darwin, a necessity in writing for the truth about guns, I’ll link his article down below, but he made an interesting suggestion that I totally agree with and I’m doing this video to help bring attention to it and hopefully we can get this movement started. Treat these actions as contempt of court. That’s right, lawmakers can be held accountable under the Judiciary Act of 1789, which allows federal courts to punish contempt with fines or imprisonment.
If legislators continue to waste taxpayer dollars pushing unconstitutional laws, maybe it’s time for the courts to remind them who’s in charge. And let’s not forget, the tradition of making firearms at home goes back centuries. It’s as American as apple pie. I love that phrase. Now using scary sounding terms like ghost guns doesn’t change that. It’s just another way to manipulate the public into giving up their rights. Don’t fall for it. If we let lawmakers ignore Supreme Court rulings without consequences, where does it end? The Bruin decision wasn’t a suggestion, it’s the standard.
And it’s up to all of us to hold these ass clown legislators accountable. They are our employees, not vice versa. I am personally asking all of my friends and the pro-liberty and pro-2A groups across this land, please, please start this trend. I offer to help in any way I can. If you agree, hit the like button and share this video with your friends. And don’t forget to subscribe to the channel for more updates on Second Amendment News. Together we can help stand up for our rights and ensure that the Constitution is respected. Thank you for watching, I appreciate your time, and I’ll see you on the next one.
Take care. Thank you. [tr:trw].
