Fugees Rapper “Pras” Michel Found Guilty in Lobbying Scandal

“Pras”, the member of the 1990s hip-hop group the Fugees was found guilty of involvement in multi-million dollar political conspiracies.
A jury on Wednesday convicted Grammy Award-winning rapper Prakazrel “Pras” Michel on criminal charges that he conspired with a Malaysian financier to orchestrate a series of foreign lobbying campaigns aimed at influencing the U.S. government under two presidents.
Michel was charged with 10 counts of conspiracy, acting as an agent of a foreign government, witness tampering and falsifying campaign finance records.
Prosecutors said Michel agreed to funnel about $2 million from Malaysian businessman Jho Low into Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign in exchange for receiving millions of dollars.
Because federal election law prohibits foreigners from donating to U.S. campaigns, prosecutors said Michel masked the source of the funds.

Why wasn’t he charged with treason against the Constitution or just plain treason by affecting this government by foreign corruption. Why didn’t the attorneys and judges hold him for such. Not to constitutes a misprision of felony. The entire system is so corrupt the rich get off with a light 5 month sentence (anyone knows what he received) and politicians like Obama, who obviously knew, nothing happens to. Real justice in a legislative court system that holds to public law and discards the constitution.
Send him to Gitmo.
Wow. Where are the charges for the government criminals who commit these crimes year after year after year. Seems he’s not in a protected class like the Bushes, Clintons, Obamas and the Biden’s, who’s whole careers are built upon foreign money schemes.
Why did his trial take so long??? We’re talking10 to 11 years ago.
