Well, hello there my friends Chris Marcus here with you for Arcadia Economics and a quick update today about First Majestic Silver as they did release some exploration results from San Dimas this morning. So just wanted to walk you through the highlights so you can see what they came back with and comment first from Keith Neumeier who was sounding pretty excited about what they have here because he mentions that recent drilling at San Dimas has highlighted prospectivity through the intersection of significant gold and silver mineralization. Drilling to convert inferred to indicated mineral resources at Perez, Santa Regina, and Elia has returned better than expected results.
Resource expansion drilling has confirmed the Perez vein remains open to the east and west, the Sinaloa mineralized system is open down dip, and the Santa Teresa mineralization is open for approximately one kilometer to the west. So if we take a quick look at the results down here, we can see drilling at the Perez vein extends gold and silver mineralization up dip, further defining the recently identified mineralized shoot to the east, step-up drilling in the easternmost extension, confirmed vein continuity, and the Perez vein remains open both to the east and the west, and as we see here in the four drill holes 7.36 grams per ton gold, 1,129 grams per ton silver, over 6.72 meters, 10.87 grams gold, 1,034 grams silver, over 7.88, 1.99 grams gold, and 440 grams per ton silver, over 6 meters, and 3.26 grams per ton gold, 381 grams per ton silver, over 2.79, and at the Sinaloa Elia vein system, drilling intersected several intervals of gold and silver mineralized veins.
Resource conversion drilling confirms and further delineates the mineralization below the Sinaloa vein with several intercepts that came back better than expected, and the expansionary drilling below Elia intersected two significant intercepts, highlighting the down-dip potential, and here we see 39.28 grams per ton gold, 1900 grams per ton silver, over 1.76 meters, 20.41 grams per ton gold, 1702 grams per ton silver, over 2.15 meters, and 10.46 grams per ton gold, 879 grams per ton silver, over 0.92 meters, and at Santa Regina, they returned significant intercepts while growing the inferred mineral resource, and there they had 13.24 gold, 1501 silver, over 0.94 meters, 9.44 gold, 1069 grams per ton silver, over 1.34 meters, and 9.27 grams gold, 849 grams silver, over 1.52 meters, and then the final one here was at Santa Teresa, where they returned significant intercepts in the eastern and western extensions of the historic mine, early results from the western extension confirming continuity and prospectivity, and approximately one kilometer of strike length remains untested, and here we see the 4.86 grams per ton gold, 511 grams per ton silver, over 2.18 meters, and 4.1 grams per ton gold, and 79 grams per ton silver, over 2.09 meters, so congratulations to First Majestic on the results, link to this press release in the description field below.
Hope you’re having a great day out there, and we will see you again soon. [tr:trw].
