Very cool stuff. So check your spam filter if you’re on that list. And let’s get right into it. There was a Georgia company that went by the name, three different names. And what they would do is they would come after something called a phantom debt. Let’s say that you went out and got a payday loan or you had a credit card loan and it was charged off. And then this company got a list. Not even that they bought the debt. They just got the list that you owed the debt. And it’s called the phantom debt. Hey, deadbeat, pay up.
So peacocks are all hanging out. So this company would go out and they would shake people down, but they would use the most illegal tactics. However, we’re going to arrest you. We’re coming for you. We’re coming to your house right now if you don’t pay us immediately. So what did people do? People paid. Now, here’s the worst part about this, is that this company collected $76 million in bogus payments that they never had any authority to collect. So I am telling you this, guys right now is that we’ve all had financial difficulties at different times in our lives.
And if you owe a debt, you know, there’s things that you need to do. Don’t acknowledge that you owe the debt. First of all, don’t make a payment arrangement because then you owe the debt. And you know, don’t speak to anybody unless you’re sure that they are the actual creditor that you’re supposed to deal with. The other thing is that the woman that helped me get my. That cleaned up my credit report a few years ago, she was great because she taught me things like ask for the wet signature when you signed the original credit report, credit contract.
Oh, you can do that. Yeah. And most likely these people don’t have it. I want to bill a statement of everything. If you have anything on your credit report right now that says it’s active when in fact, it’s been charged off. That is illegal. She sued somebody for me because they said that they were actively pursuing a debt that had been written off, you know, almost a decade earlier that I didn’t even know was on my credit report. These phantom debts, people get freaked out and get all leery about that. They owe this money. And you may or may not owe the money.
You know, if you have a current creditor, you know, if you stiffed Visa, you know about this. But these phantom debts are. Dan may have gotten a payday loan and didn’t make the payment. Oh, look at the baby flamingo over there. I’m at the Santa Ana Zoo right now, which is really cool. I’m in the bird sanctuary. But with this being said, this company that went by the name of Global Circulation, they had four names. Total Mediation Solutions, Consumer Impact Recovery, and Total Mediations Solutions. They’re in huge trouble. I mean, they had all their assets seized by a federal judge saying that they cannot do this.
And again, I got the Statute of Limitation Guide for you that’s included in this video. You can read it and you can go to Fair Credit and understand what the rights are, whether it’s medical debt, if it’s a. If it’s a credit card bill, whatever. But again, if it’s been charged off, basically it’s done. Now, can a charged off debt be collected? Yes. But what you need to do is not. I don’t know if anybody’s ever told us, don’t speak to these people, okay? Unless you have a plan and you know what you owe and what you’re going to do, because, hey, I’m, you know, so and so from the hospital and you owe this debt.
Okay, yeah, sorry about that. Yeah, I’m sorry. I had that surgery 15 years ago. It is crazy that they’re doing this with people so they have all these different protective areas so the birds don’t get out, which I still think it would be fun to see a young child let them go. Or a grown man, if you know what I mean. Anyways, don’t pay these bills. But to have this company, to have this judge shut these people down, they are in so much trouble right now. And again, have you been harassed? Yes, we’ve all been harassed.
Do you get, you know, phone calls and random people reaching out to you for different things? Nobody answers their phone anymore. You know, this goes back to the election. Also think about this. The number of people that generally answer the telephone are generally older. Or if you think you know the number. Oh, My gosh. That looks like Macy’s phone number. Let me pick it up. So with that being said, don’t make the mistake. But this company, man, oh man, oh man. Read the stories below. They this was on the news in Georgia and this guy that ran that company is in huge trouble.
So please understand this. Don’t pay these bills. If you’re not sure that you own it, find out. Okay? But don’t ignore, yeah, that’s me. I owe. That don’t work out a payment arrangement if you don’t have to, because the problem with it is that you can restart things by working at a deal with these people. And I’m telling you, it’s the worst thing that you can do. But these phantom debts are debts people don’t even owe. They’ve been written off, charged off. The company’s gone and written them off. They’re out of business. And then people like this get an email list of people that didn’t pay their payday loans, things like that.
Okay, hey, man, we’re coming down. We’re going to arrest you if anybody does anything that is threatening, that is illegal in any state, basically, in any country. The rules are better here than anyplace else in the United States. But if somebody comes and says pay or else and tries to use a little RICO or a little, you know, racketeering type of shenanigans, that is illegal, guys. You cannot collect debts that way. And people make the mistakes of doing that. And if you think somebody’s been doing something and you want to record their calls, oh, it’s illegal to record a call in California.
It’s not illegal to record criminal activity. Remember that, guys? Okay, I know that firsthand. Okay, so let me know what you think about this so far. And this is the Bindi Nabindi’s hive, anyways, they’re working on. This is the smaller zoo here in Santa Ana. They’re doing a bunch of remodel to it. And it’s just nice to walk around. Quick little story. When I was a kid, my single mother used to take us to this park. And it was open. You could just walk through the zoo back then. The family that owned this when they sold it to the city insisted that they had to have 50 monkeys here at all time.
If they didn’t have 50 monkeys on the grounds at all time, they could. The property then would revert back to the family. And I always liked that. So supposedly there’s a family member that comes and counts the monkeys every quarter to make sure that there’s 50 monkeys. I’m getting my. My property back. Okay. Imagine that life. Okay, let me know what you think so far. And again, have you been harassed? Share it with us. Yes, you know, let me know. Let us all know. Okay. Some parrots for you. Okay. But a lot more to cover. I am coming up on an anniversary that I’m really happy I never have to do again, and that is flying Frontier and Spirit Airlines on a trip I took a year ago when I went to the Formula one race. Awful. Guys. I don’t know what was worse, Frontier or Spirit Airlines. Spirit Airlines just filed for bankruptcy. Oh. They tried to merge with JetBlue and the Fed shut that down.
And I. I always loved this when. When businesses do this, hey, if you don’t work out a deal, we’re going to go out of business. No, you won’t. No, you won’t. Well, no, they just filed bankruptcy yesterday and they got. I always love this, too. They got $300 million in financing to keep themselves going. And again, the single worst airlines, the two Frontier and Spirit. I walked up to Frontier to fly to Las Vegas, Orange County. And somebody recognized me and, hey, take a picture with me. I want to send to my husband. Okay? So we’re doing this stuff.
And then I said, go ahead in front of me. So they go in front of me, and then I walk up the counter and the woman says, I’m Sorry, sir, you’re 59 minutes before your flight. And I’m like, what? And she’s like, yeah, I can’t let you on the plane. So it cost me $125 more as a late fee to fly on Frontier. I said, you saw what I just did? Yeah, you should. Shouldn’t have done that, sir. Shouldn’t have let them go in front of you. Okay, well, that’s terrible. So there is some type of.
Oh, look at this thing. It’s just a house cat friendly. So shouldn’t have let that happen. Then flying home, I had to fly back on Spirit. And I get a text message from Spirit that says, you’re 11:55. Flight is now going to be at 1:15. Okay? So we’re just taking our time. My buddy Doug and I are eating breakfast. Then I get a text at 11am Congratulations, your flight is now on time. And I’m like, what? So we race to the airport. I get there and the woman says, I’ll let you on the plane, but you gotta run.
And she said her line was, you gotta run like O.J. simpson. So. So I ran through the airport, okay? And my computer bag was with me, and it fell all over, and everything slid out. And like, out of a movie, people were just stepping over stuff and didn’t walk. Didn’t help me at all. Nothing. Not a, hey, you okay? Nothing. I throw everything there and I get on the plane and they literally shut the door behind me, and I am huffing and puffing like the old man that I am. And she’s like, oh, my God, are you okay? I go, can I have a water? Yes, sir, you can.
It’s six dollars. Okay? So six freaking dollars. And I said, I hate this effing airline, okay? Said the other word, okay. But I was furious over that. But Spirit is now bankrupt. So sorry to hear that, customer service gem that they are. And again, I’m telling you, the feds, you’re not going to go bankrupt. You guys are too strong. The airlines are doing so well. No, they’re not. Now, with that being said, you’re going to have. They say this is going to be one of the busiest travel seasons ever, ever, ever, ever, ever. So what do you think about that? Are you traveling this holiday season? Black and white lemur up there.
Isn’t that nice? It’s funny. Some of these animals seem so peaceful. Okay, get them at your house. Wouldn’t that be fun? So I always like these little things. This little squealing monkey. So let me show you this guy. Handsome. Okay. Anyways, imagine that coming home to that every day. Oh, that’s cool. Global inflation is a huge problem. And in Russia, think about this. Meat, onions, butter, it’s gone up 25%. They’re trying to tell the citizenry that inflation is only up 10%, but they’re seeing much bigger numbers and a bigger problem with that. The number of people that are going to travel this holiday season.
Around Thanksgiving, 80 million people, they think are going to travel in one form or another. That’s wild. Now, does that mean they’re just going to drive to, you know, family members and things like that? Possibly, but. But you’re going to see a huge amount of people travel again. Are you guys going anywhere? Seems like I’m traveling a lot. Now, here’s one thing that blew me away that my friend Dave sent me, and that was, you know, auto parts industry. The auto parts industry is having a massive problem. There’s the other side of the lemurs over here, and they’re having a problem with counterfeit auto parts.
And the biggest problem is spark plugs. Making counterfeit spark plugs right now. Isn’t that wild to think about? The problem with it is that they look legit. They got the brand name on it, they got the logos, they got everything. Mechanic puts it in. They may work for a while, but the problem with it is that they can damage the cars and do extensive damage to this. And we haven’t even seen the beginning of this. You know, there’s been. We’ve done stories over the last three years about, you know, airline parts that were bogus. There were, you know, now it’s auto parts.
But, man, just the damage that can be done with people not realizing how serious this is is, you know, you know, authorized GM parts. There’s a value to that. Authorized Toyota parts. There’s. There’s a real reason that people should do this stuff and buy legit. But why in a. God, I can save 75% if I buy this stuff that looks the same way. The problem with the counterfeit is they don’t even try to say it’s a different brand. They try to say it’s authorized parts from these different places. So zoo is very quiet today. Okay. And they’re doing this massive remodel and building an otter area and all these different places out here.
Just a fun and expensive place. They’ve got the live butterfly sanctuary here, and when they. They hatch, it’s kind of cool to come out to see that. But anyways, guys, have you ever had bogus auto parts? Because, I mean, that would just be awful. And again, I had a problem with one of my cars that took forever to get repaired recently. And now that it’s done, I’m glad that it’s done. Glad I got the car back. And you know the argument of who’s supposed to fix it? It was fixed, and then it worked. 10 days. I said, I’m not paying for this, guys.
You’re gonna have a real problem. And sure enough, they had to pay for it. So I could go on for an hour about that. Let’s look at one more. One more. I am sure over the last week, you’ve seen dozens of TV commercials about extended warranties for cars and how it’s going to save you a fortune. And they give all these examples of all these auto repairs these people save money on. Some of them have. But some of these warranties don’t do what they say they’re supposed to do. Now, here’s something that’s completely fascinating with this.
A car mechanic did a study on this, and he said, wait a second. People don’t realize that they’re. That they have to do their regular maintenance on the car or they’re going to be stuck and they’re not going to fix the car. Gave an example of a cracked radiator. Well, you were supposed to do a radiator flush. And the mechanic said, wait a second. That’s not due for a radiator flush. Well, you have to prove that it was done because we’re not going to pay on the claim. So I had this happen. I had a Datsun pickup truck before they became Nissan.
And literally, you want to talk about the unwanted stepchild. The Datsun pickup truck was a joke because what we had was you had the old Datsun name on the back of it, and the new brand was Nissan. And look at this thing. It’s just junk. It was from last year, guys. Okay, with that being said. But I had a head gasket blow and I had the extended warranty, and I was so grateful. Yeah, you know what? We’re not going to pay that much. They say it’s going to take 11 hours, and we’re only going to pay for six to get it fixed.
And I was an 18 year old kid, I’m like, what do you mean? Well, tell them to do it faster then, because I can’t afford this. Well, we’re not going to do it, we’re not going to pay for it unless they agree to fix the whole thing, blah, blah, blah. And I got stuck with it. So I had to pay the difference on this warranty. Today would be a different story. But again, I always thought, wow, they took advantage of me because I’m a kid. Which they did. But these warranties are not what they’re all cracked up to be.
Everybody’s sitting there thinking that they’re the greatest things ever and they’re going to pay for everything. But you have to maintain the, you have to maintain the car during this time. You know, it’s funny, I know dentists that say some dental insurance is great, some is horrible. So you have to make sure that you read the fine print because if you don’t do the maintenance, you’re stuck. AP, Associated Press is going to get rid of 8% of their staff because the election’s over and going to get people. You know, we’re going to cut back and there’s not going to be the news that we had for the last 18 months.
Really? So there’s nothing going on, Nothing to talk about, or are you guys just not making enough money right now? So once again, AP is going to cut back again. You keep see the fame, guys. People are tightening the belts and I don’t care what industry they’re in. You mean there’s no news to talk about right now? It’s insane, guys. It’s absolutely nuts to think about. So you’re seeing all these different problems. Like this one thing that I wanted to talk to you guys about is I refer a lot to Freightways magazine, which is a great magazine for shipping and logistics.
And one thing that they did was they split off and formed another company called Freightways Sonar. And I’m like, why is this news? Well, well, what they did was Freightways got rid of the name Freightway Sonar. But here’s something that I want you to think about if you’re ever trying to research something. This company is like the Zillow of shipping. So if you’re going to run a shipping company or you want something shipped, Sonar is what the new name is instead of Freightway Sonar can sit there and they can tell you what it’s going to cost realistically to ship something from A to B.
And I’m like, oh, that’s pretty Cool that people have access to that. And I’m talking about, we have, you know, 14 pallets of X. We’ve got these, this machinery that weighs 3,000 pounds. You can get realistic prices just like you could going on Zillow. Because, you know, the problem with it right now is, man, I saw some scathing stuff on Zillow over the course of the last week that I’m trying to verify right now. And that people are paying for leads right now that they get on Zillow. Real realtors are. And the problem with it is, think about this.
You get a guy like Dan who just calls, hey, I want to ask a question. Is that was that third bedroom or is that the den that they converted? Blah, blah, blah. They have to pay for that. They get free leads. And then if I ever hire these people to buy a house, they can pay up to 40% commission back to Zillow. So Zillow’s got themselves a money making opportunity with all this stuff. So. But there are ways to figure out what something’s going to cost, and it just takes some research and some time. So this sonar thing, I thought that’s kind of cool that you can sit there and get an estimate online without talking to somebody.
So that’s kind of cool. But you’re going to see more mergers, more changes, and more people cutting back than you ever have before. Mark my words on that. Okay? Don’t pay phantom debt. Remember that. I’m going to finish this video with these last couple stories, and the first one is Tom Green. Tom Green was basically the first podcaster. He went out there and set up a show called the Tom Green show. And eventually he got picked up by mtv. MTV bought the rights to the show and he went on the show and you’re thinking, where have I heard of this guy? Well, this guy was a nut.
He was just a kooky guy. He was in, you know, different movies and was married to Drew Barrymore at one point was her first husband. And this guy ditched it all, ditched Hollywood for farming life and moved to the farm. Now, why is this relevant? My late girlfriend that died bought a car, bought a van on Shark Tank, saw Shark Tank, where this company converted vans and went out and they took. They were surfers, great guys. And Barbara Corcoran invested and they took these vans and converted them to where you can live in. And Lisa bought one of those things.
Very cool. She was the second person to buy when the first person by was Tom Green. And Tom Green bought this van, but liked living in the van so much, he’s like, I’m ditching this, I’m getting out of here. He went to Canada and is now a full time farmer. Left Hollywood, which I thought that’s good, good for him. But wild. And there were store. I mean, you can look it up. He was on Joe Rogan talking about how the van got stuck in the Mojave Desert. Thought he could drive it off road and you can’t, okay? But it is great because it’s got a bed, it’s got a kitchen, it’s got all the electrical.
I mean, it’s really, really cool. But with that being said, final, final story. They say if you walk just 11 minutes a day, okay. And you carry a camera like this, you can live longer. So exercise, walking is the key. Everybody thinks you need to lift weights and all this stuff. And as I go to lose weight and to get myself in better shape, you have to walk more often. And they say walking is the key to staying young and being healthy. So check that out. I love study find study finds.org I’m telling you, they always get good stuff.
Check it out today. Final reminder, don’t forget, we have the private channel I allegedly live, which I love doing content on. And there’s stuff that’s too hot for here that we put there. And for those of you, I’ll say it again, if you’re on the email list, check your spam filter because one thing that I compiled that I told you guys I was going to put together was all the different dividend stocks. And I’m not giving you financial advice, but I put together and found a bunch of great lists and I’m excited about things I’m going to get myself into.
But check it out today. Okay? So onward and upward, guys. You want to email me, it’s hello@I allegedly.com and I will see you very soon.
