There’s a lot of fear that all of us deal with. And to be honest with you, it’s the devil. The devil’s got fear on you sometimes. And sometimes you just got to break it free, and a lot of that comes through your mouth. All right, so we’re going to do that together, and we’re going to tell you these stories real quick. I am on the set of my new channel.
There is editing involved. It’s called this will make you rich. If you would not mind jamming over there and hitting the subscribe button, it would help me out. We’re going to focus on getting people out of debt, teaching them fundamentals of finance. I just did a video on. What is that? Is hedging. So a little bit more. Very nice, low level financial stuff. We’re going to get into some really extreme stuff as well.
All right, let’s start with the first story. I walk into a place to have breakfast this morning, and it is fancy crepes. Now, when you think crepes, you think powdered sugar and whipped cream. But this wasn’t the case. It was a really nice place. We were just looking for a bite to eat and a cup of coffee before we went to our first appointment and went inside. Very nice young lady sitting behind the counter.
She was so passionate about the crepes that I had to ask if she was the owner. And she laughed. She goes, no, I’m too young to be an owner, but I get that a lot. Wow. This owners knocked it out of the ballpark with this young lady at the cash register, who is the owner, because I didn’t see anybody in the restaurant. It was slow. And I asked her, I said, is it like this? Normally? She goes, well, it’s a roller coaster, but it’s not as fast.
And she said something was really interesting because my wife asked for decaf coffee, and she says, I’m sorry, I can’t serve you decaf. Starbucks made sure that our landlord would not allow us to sell decaf coffee. We’re only allowed to sell regular. Well, you know, the ninja don’t like that kind of crap. I know exactly why Starbucks does it. So I’m like, where’s the owner? And so I scared the guy halfway.
Guy, I guess a big dude comes up behind and goes, hey, I got a question for you. And he turns around and he jumped. I didn’t mean to do that, but I said, I want you to tell me the best crepe you have, because he’s in there making. And I could tell this guy knew what he was doing. Mexican gentleman. And he goes, order this one. I said, no problem.
Give it to me. And they all serve the food to us. And it’s amazing. Absolutely amazing. Think about a wavos rancheros, Omelet wrapped in a crepe shell. Just unbelievable and very inexpensive. It was $12. Me, my wife, my son all agreed this was amazing. He comes out and I said, look, would you mind some unsolicited advice? And he goes, no, not at all. I said, look, because I do this for a living, but I don’t consult, so I’m not trying to get a job.
Would you like some more business? He said, yes, I’d like some. I said, you would be completely packed if you started making some Facebook ads. They cost you practically nothing. Or some free videos and start pinning your location. You do some YouTube videos, and you do that little pin inside the link that actually shows exactly where you are through your location services. And what you need to do is you need to show people how to make these crepes themselves at home.
He goes, oh, I can’t do that. Why? He goes, my wife is afraid. What do you mean your wife’s afraid? She’s afraid of the attention. And I started asking some more questions. He didn’t know what I do for a living. He doesn’t know who I am, which totally fine, just dude, bro, hawk in a dream. And I said, what else are you afraid of? He goes, I can’t be on camera.
And I’m like, well, I can solve that. And I gave him a solution after solution. I said, then just film with the camera behind you, and it’s just your hands. He goes, I can’t do that. It was like every little thing he was afraid of. And I said, well, let me ask you this. Where do you think we are with the economy? And he looked at me straight.
Oh, and this is another thing he said he was afraid of. He said, I’m afraid of what people think of me because I’m a mexican and I don’t have the right nationality to be making crepes. I don’t give a crap what color you are. Your crepes are awesome. As a matter of fact, I think you need to highlight that. He goes, no, people will judge me. So he kept bringing fear after fear after fear.
And I was determined to break the fear off this guy. You know, one thing that breaks fear is knowledge. When you have knowledge, you can’t have fear. It absolutely is impossible. So I said, your wife is the reason why you ain’t doing those videos. I said, all right. I guarantee you. And I said, where do you think we are as an economy? He goes, we’re in trouble. The economy is crashing.
All right. He doesn’t listen to channel. Said, all right, well, I’m going to tell you something that you’re about to be more afraid of than all the things you just told me. When the economy crashes, no one’s coming in that door you’re going to close because you’re not going to have any customers. And you could see the look in his eyes. I said, when will you overcome your fear? Will you overcome it before the customers stop? Because I look back at an empty restaurant, said, you got an amazing product at a very fair price.
I’d be more afraid of closing your doors than what people think of you being a mexican or what you look like on the camera. Didn’t ask any questions about me or what I do. And it’s always sort of sad when I know the advice I’m giving is rock solid, awesome advice and they don’t take it. And all you can do is try and help people, right? I’m so excited about this. I love teaching and I love training people. I think I want to start training people on how to do tactical shooting, but that’s a whole nother video or series of videos. So I left that place today and ironically, I found myself in another business, a business that sells electric trains. Now, if you have been around the channel, you know, even though I’ve never really played with them, I have a train collection.
Because when I was a little boy. I wanted this train. And it was always in the FAO Schwartz stores, always in the high end toy stores. It’s a train company made in Germany called LGB. And I never could afford them. They were super expensive. They still are. And my wife and I came across a sale once. I’m not going to bore you with all the details, but I started flipping them, and I bought my first house with the money in six months.
So I came across a train shop. I walked inside, a lady comes in, and I said, are you the owner? She goes, yeah, what can I do for you? I’m like, you have an amazing collection. I’d like to buy some of these pieces. She goes, well, that one, the one I wanted was not for sale. It was from a gentleman that has a very nice collection. I’m going to figure out how to buy that.
I’m going to buy that one of these days. But she started asking me questions, and I told her the background of buying and selling trains. And then we started talking about economics, and she said, the things that you are telling me are scaring me. And I actually get that a lot when I tell people truth, when I tell people facts, they actually know by the way that I’m telling them because I know what I’m talking about.
And that’s not to brag. I know. Let me ask you this real quick. Type one, if you think the economy is collapsing right now. Type two, if you don’t think so, I guarantee all the people in the ones know it because of facts. She was afraid, and I told her, I said, you know, you shouldn’t be afraid because I told her about what I did in 2005. I told her about the cycle of collectibles.
I told her about my baseball card shop when I was young in high school. Sophomore in high school. Told her about selling my Mickey Mantle rookie and all these kind of things. And I use cycles to make that happen, right? See, everybody that’s typing one, you guys are doing it based off of understanding and knowledge. I can guarantee you that. My point being is that she was afraid.
And I said, why would you be afraid? You should be excited. She goes, what do you mean? I said, because people are going to be selling their collections left and right. You’re going to be picking them for pennies on the dollar. And her eyes got bigger and she smiled a little bit. But then she says, but that means I won’t have time to sell my house. Like this came out of left field.
We weren’t talking about real estate. I said, why would you want to sell your house? She goes, because the economy is crashing. And I go, yeah, but. Oh, yeah, you’re right. Owning your home, for most Americans, is your greatest asset. And she nodded her head. She goes, it is for me. I said, the only reason you would want to sell your house is because you’d want to capitalize on it.
She goes, what do you mean? I said, well, just you coming out and saying that you’re afraid if everything I’m saying is right, if it’s true, you won’t be able to sell your house in time and you’re going to lose that income. And she goes, yeah. I said, it was like a gut reaction that you went to. I said, look, if your house falls by 50%, everyone else is going to fall by 50%, right? And she goes, yeah, well, actually, that’s not true.
Everyone at your level, if your house falls by 50%, will fall by 50, but the more expensive ones, they fall by more. Your eyes get big. I said, besides, do you really need that money? She goes, of course I do. And I go, no, you don’t. You see, all you got to do is structure. If you know something’s coming, pull a HeloC against your house. Don’t spend any of the money.
Just leave it there. You don’t got to pay on it. And then when a crash comes, you still got the loan sitting there, and you could go do something with it, and you can see your eyes just open up. And it’s interesting, because I watched two people as they explain their fears. When I give them facts or a plan, they snap right out of it. And that’s what happens when you have knowledge, when you have a plan.
What’s that term? Plan for the worst and hope for the best. There are a lot of people that are being held back from starting a business or starting a side hustle or at least formulating a financial plan in their life. Why? I’d like to see you give me your best excuse and don’t sit there and tell me that you’re blind or that you’re handicapped or that you’re too old, because I think you just need to go watch the Special Olympics and watch people that are disabled that are doing amazing things that I can’t do with all of my limbs and my eyes.
Seriously, there’s zero excuse. Now. What people do need is you need to change your social circle. You show me your five closest friends, I’ll show you your future. I didn’t make that up. That is a very real and honest statement type three. If you agree with that, show me your five closest friends. I will show you your future. I just heard a story. I was skiing yesterday and ran into a buddy, and he said he wanted to introduce me to someone that was broke.
But he was a hard worker, and about a year and a half ago, he told him that similar phrase. He says, you need to walk away from the people you’re living around, hanging out with, and you need to go find a better social circle. And he explained to him how to do it. And he says he just closed on his first home in a year and a half.
He now owns a home. His life’s completely different, and he’s got a good clip of money sitting in the bank account. That’s the difference about who you are right now or where you are or where you want to go now. There are some people that are commenting in here saying that they need new friends. And I’ll tell you, there is a lot of power in a cup of coffee.
And it’s a lot more than the caffeine, I’ll tell you that much. My prayer was to find good, amazing, able bodied, able minded men to help me in my journey. And for a long time, that prayer went unanswered. I had to rely on myself. I had good friends. Friends. But they weren’t, let’s say, as ambitious as I was. And so I went out on my own. And it was a hard.
It was hard. But eventually what I found is, as I was helping other people, what I did, and I told my son this when he was young, I said, if you will become friends to the friendless, God will bless you with the friends that you need. And there are a lot of people out there that do not have friends. They’re socially awkward, or, I don’t know, they just don’t have them.
They’re the outcasts. And if you will befriend, and I don’t mean you’ve got to put a ton of time in, but if you’ll be kind, you will take some time. What happens is, it’s like, to me, it’s like tithing, giving some of your money to people in need. God blesses that, and you will be blessed. So if you need a higher level, a higher social circle, you become the higher social circle for other people.
Don’t let them take too much of your time, because that happens. That’s a whole nother video. I’ve had to deal with that, too. But you help to a certain point, and then you put them out and I’ve been doing this even with the YouTube channel. I don’t remember type four, if you guys remember. I’ve been doing a lot. I’ve sort of had it thrown in my face a handful of times.
That’s okay. You just knock the dust off your feet. You start again. But I really try and encourage people to start channels and then help them out. And that’s really blessed, this channel, honestly. And I will continue to do that. And I have to be very discerning in who I do that with and where I spend my time, because I’ve seen it blow up in my face. Not only this, but other things in my life, other businesses.
But again, going back to this original theme, I ran into two business owners that had fear, but we conquered the fear with knowledge and a plan. And I look at this world, and there’s a lot of people that have a side hustle. What 50% of Americans are getting at 1099 this year from a company last year, right? Which means they have some form of a side hustle. Yet some of those side hustles are hustles like Uber, Lyft.
I can’t tell you. Every single time I get into a Lyft, I ask the drivers how they’re enjoying their own business or how they’re setting up their write offs. And nine out of ten go, this is great, but what do you mean write offs? What are you talking about? Hey, Neil, thank you so much. You didn’t have to give me a super chat. Take that back. It is important to really be, you know, we get caught up in our own needs and our own desires. As I’m talking about this, I’m judging myself, thinking about what else I can do. We get caught up in our needs and our desires, and if we would become the answer of the bridge or a support network.
Again, don’t let people SAP energy out of you, all right? You help. If they don’t help themselves, you step aside, you move on, find someone else. There is so much joy. I can guarantee you this joy. When you meet someone, you give them a word of encouragement, a helping hand, or you really do help them for a season, let’s say. And you watch them take that and they run, and their life’s better.
You will find more validation, more enjoyment and joy than when you accomplish something as a matter of fact, Dylan, young man, the great work ethic has been helping me with some things. Organizing the courses and sales, just doing stuff that I can’t. I’m more excited about him watching him make money. I’m not joking. I’m more excited about watching a new YouTuber hit their thousand subscribers. I met a man today in a gun store.
Weird. And he was a subscriber. How many of you guys like boom boom sticks type? Five. I’m just curious how many people love the boom boom sticks, the anti liberal accessory. So he was a firefighter from Sac Metro, which is ironic because my boy Bakken went to sack Metro and I guess he watches the ninja and doesn’t even realize we used to be roommates. I guess I’ve changed.
So anyone from Sac Metro, say hi to bakken for me. And he said that their firehouse, they would sit around and watch the economic ninja channel. And it was really cool. I love shaking hands and hugging people and just getting to know you guys and ladies and you inspire me every day. You inspire me. And I was driving home and I was reading a comment and I can’t read it because it’s on the wrong phone, but it was from a subscriber named John.
John. And he’d watched the video I made today and it was about fear. And he says, I’m not going to live in fear anymore. And I’m paraphrasing because I don’t remember everything about it, but he said, I just lost my youngest son, my twelve year old son about two weeks ago, and says he’s not going to live in fear anymore. He said he dove put all he’s all right.
Before his 59th birthday, he lost his twelve year old son. And he says, I’m not going to live in fear anymore. I dove everything I could into my children and my youngest was a spitting image of his three older siblings. How do you answer that? We have to annihilate fear because fear, and the truth is I could shove a bunch of doom and gloom down this channel and it would work.
It would get a lot of subscribers, it would get a ton of views. It’s crazy getting to know some of these other people in social media and they’re all handful of them are just frauds, straight up fakes. And they work it good. They work the fear, the propaganda, but they don’t give you an alternative. And I’m showing you right now the alternative. First stop is Jesus Christ. And I’m not the person to preach, trust me, but you got to start speaking positively over know last week I was in the dumps, down the dumps.
I go to turn the quarter on and I got to say it, this is going to kill it. We’re going to crush it. We’re going to absolutely crush it. We’re going to change people’s lives. Channel is going to explode. I’m talking this out loud before I hit record. I only share that with you because I think a lot of people need to know this. I want to see fear completely annihilated from every single person watching this video, as a matter of fact. Because if you have fear in your life, and I’m telling you, I’ve dealt with this a lot, fear is a spirit. You got to speak against it. Say, I command fear to be annihilated in the name of Jesus Christ. You watch what happens when you do that. Watch what happens.
You just keep speaking it out. Say, I have no fear. I have no fear. You put that kind of attitude along with an attitude of understanding, like a desire for knowledge. You’ll be able to do anything you want. You’ll be able to start any business. I don’t care how dumb you think you are. Seriously, I can barely read. I can not very good at math. Don’t even watch my finger painting skills.
But I have grown wealth and I have started businesses and they’ve been successful. I’ve had a lot of failures, too. But if you can get rid of that fear, you’ll be wealthy, but the right kind of wealthy. Because as long as you grow wealth and you annihilate that fear, and then you also never forget where you came from, cockiness will destroy you. And I’ve gotten cocky lately. I’ve had to knock myself back down.
If you’ll remember where you came from, all of us came from the same place, you will crush it. And I hope when this crash fully manifests, I’m around 1 million people that are excited like racehorses in a stall ready for race day. You’ve been training for it. You’ve been preparing for it. And the day has come, and it’s going to be go time. When there are people around this world that want to cause chaos.
You’re going to be bringing life. You’re going to be bringing abundance. You’re going to be bringing solutions. Every single one of you have the same ability that I’ve got. We ain’t any different.
