Hey everybody, it’s been a long time since I’ve done a video from the chair, but I’ve got a lot of things going on and I can’t get to the studio, but I wanted to follow through on a promise I gave you that said I would update you if and when the ATF and the Department of Justice officially appeal any of their decisions that have gone against them, and effective yesterday it was announced that the federal government has appealed the pistol brace ruling to the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. It’s been about two months since the last ruling came out.
They had a certain amount of time. They dragged their feet, but they have done it. If you’re not aware of what the pistol brace rule is, use the search function on my channel. I’ve done many, many videos on how the government decided to say that if you add something to a pistol, it makes it a rifle and thus, you know, you got to pay them $200 per item in order to make it safe and acceptable. Crazy. But yeah, ATF has appealed the Mock v. Garland decision that is Firearms Policy Coalition’s case on the pistol brace ban, and it’s on to the next step.
I have a sneaky feeling we’re going to win there too, because the Fifth Circuit is very, very constitutional friendly. But I’ll give you an update as soon as there’s one to have. All you got to do is subscribe to the channel down below, stay in the know, and if you love freedom, individual liberty, then you’re my type of people. See you on the next one. Take care. [tr:trw].
