So with all the recent hype and mystery and states of emergency and school and business closings involved in this 2024 eclipse, I had to drive all the way from upland, California straight out to the path of totality, which was in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. That’s when NASA was going and that’s where I was going as well. And as soon as I got out there, I was two days early.
So I had to find a place to set up for the night, which was easy enough. I know the ozarks pretty darn well and I found a place. But when I woke up first thing in the morning at 07:00 I wasn’t too enthused because the sky did not look like it was going to cooperate whatsoever at all. This was the sky first thing in the morning, so my spirits were low.
But I made my way up to Poplar Bluff and this is what I saw. And if you know me, this is way too many people for me. So I found a location that worked out really well and I managed to get the absolute path of totality, the diamond ring on both sides. So it worked out pretty well. So I’m going to show all of that to you in this video.
Here we go. So doing a little reconnaissance, I found an area that I thought would be a good spot. It was a deserted building that had an overhang so I could actually have some shade, but the cloud cover didn’t make it look like it was going to work out too well. But I still set up the cameras and had to hope for the best. And that’s all I had going for me.
I set up the cameras in every conceivable angle and this is what I ended up catching. I’m not going to speak anymore or narrate because there’s nothing to say. Leave it in the comments below. Like share and subscribe. I’m out. Sa sa it. .
