As you may or may not know, Dr. Oz is a dual citizen! 

He is a citizen of the United States and of Turkey!

Well, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo raised concerns about the ties that Dr. Mehmet Oz has to Turkey in a press briefing arranged by Oz’s chief opponent in the race.

And yes, Mike Pompeo is endorsing another candidate for Senate in Pennsylvania. 

As you may recall, President Trump endorsed Dr. Oz in the Pennsylvania Senate race.

And apparently, Trump is speaking tonight in Pennsylvania. 

I wonder if he will talk about this?

Pompeo said,

“We criticize American candidates all the time because they didn’t vote,” Pompeo said. “This is different from that. Not only did he not engage in the American [process] but he engaged in the Turkish political process. That raises in my mind a lot of judgments about his priority.”

ABC News first reported Wednesday that Oz, who holds Turkish citizenship, voted in Turkey’s 2018 election despite previously saying he was never politically involved in the country “in any capacity.” 

And yes this is politics 101. Attack your opponent. 

And with so many of them corrupt, that doesn’t seem to be a hard thing to do.
