We love brickhouse nutrition. I needed brickhouse nutrition today because I was out way too late last night drinking way too much whiskey. As a matter of fact, I think I'm still drunk from yesterday. But that's okay because there's no requirement to be sober on the Dan Bongino show. So I had my brickhouse nutrition this morning. Field of greens. I threw it in some green tea. I love it. Each fruit and vegetable in Field of Greens was medically selected for a specific health benefit. Here's a testimonial from a customer. I've been taking field of Greens, and this is the second time my doctor's danced into the room praising my blood results. Credit where credits do. Thanks. Field of greens. Listen, if you're busy, you don't get enough exercise and eat too much fast food, take Field of Greens. I trust Field of Greens for my health. You can, too. Let me get you started with 15% off. Visit brickhousenutrition.com dan. Use promo code dan. That's promo code dan@brickhousenutrition.com. Dan. Alright, ladies and gentlemen, we are about to, as I said before, do something really special tonight. The lefties have been really doing a lot of their destructive work in the culture for years. You all know that. They're not stupid. They figured out a long time ago that you can't have your communism system without the kids. There's no communism without the kids, okay? And what better way to get the kids outside of the education system, right, than to get them to the entertainment system? Everything from Disney to cartoons to music. And tonight, we've got one of the good guys. We got a guy who gave a big middle finger to the music industry. He could have played the know it, you know it. John could have played the game. John Rich could have played the game and gone woke and sang cutesy time little lovey dovey songs all the time and talked about how great the sexual identity politics gender revolution in schools is. But you know what John said? Nah, man, we ain't doing that. We're going to sing songs about America, how much we love it. And not only that, I'm going to sing songs about how woke you idiots are. And they're going to go to number one. How do you like them apple? So without further ado, I want to welcome to the stage the star of today's show, my man, Johnny Rich. Thank you, Dan. Hello. Welcome to the Redneck Riviera. Can I get a hail? Yeah. How you doing, Dan? I'm doing good. I just want to tell you we have 15,000 people watching and we're only five minutes. There you go. Thank you, Ron and true social for hooking us up. We appreciate it. And thanks to Devin Nunes, who's here tonight, too. And also, we got a special guest here, too, folks. You know Cash Patel. Cash and Devin, these two guys. You wouldn't know anything about Russian collusion if it wasn't for these two guys. So there you go. And friends of John, too. Well, thank you to Dan Bongino for coming to Nashville, making this trip. He did not have to do this. He came all the way here, brought his family, brought his friends, brought his whole team right here to the Redneck Riviera to proclaim his love of country through music and whiskey. Can I get a hell, yeah out of this crowd? Little too much whiskey last night. You hooked me up last night. I just want you to know, Dan, were you in this bar last night? Till the wee hours of the morning. There's a rumor about that. His bouncers let me right in. There was a huge line to get in. And I was so drunk, I just walked up and they said, yeah, we got a little VIP area for you. Sit in the corner. You weren't kidding. Well, we look out for you, man. We look out for our friends. It's a great bar. So this record's called the Country Truth. And it's called The Country Truth because every song on the record is the truth from a country boy's perspective. It's pretty much as simple as that. The picture that you see of the record there, of The Country Truth, guess who took that picture of me? My wife. It's a great picture. So this is family and friends. This is not big companies. This is not corporations. I think that we, the people, are the most powerful force that has ever existed on the face of the earth. And we're finding it out tonight, live. Amen. Bonginas. All right, so I put this record together. These are some of my favorite songs I've written over the past couple of years. And this first one, man, is a song I wrote with your old compadre, Greg Gutfeld. We love Greg. He's the man. And so I gotta have you guys help me sing it when it gets to the shut up part. But it goes like this. Shut up about politics it ain't nothing but a big pile of dirty tricks I'm tired of all the fighting and a pitching fit so shut up, shut up about politics. You punch left, I punch right. We're caught up in the middle of a deep swamp fight. Some people lie and some people steal and everybody's talking about the Green New Deal shut up about politics it ain't nothing but a big pile of dirty tricks I'm tired of all the fighting and a pitching fit so shut up shut up about politics all this fussing carrying on it's been going on a little too long but I got something to fix us all up. Take a shot of my whiskey from a big red cup and shut up about politics it ain't nothing but a big pile of dirty tricks I'm tired of all the fighting and a pitching fit so shut up shut up about politics shut up, shut up about last time shut up. Shut up about politics. Right, Dan? Yeah, brother. Bring it out. That's the way to start, man. When I left the house today, I was coming down with my good friend Charlie P. Been my buddy, my brother, since about 2000. We're checking the charts. We're checking the charts. I was like six, and then it was four, then it was three. Then I checked it one last time before I left the house and before I left the house to come down here in country music. The Country Truth is the number one selling album in the entire number one, baby. Everyone at home download it. The country truth. John, 25,000 people watching. I am stunned by that. I am absolutely stunned. I spent my whole life in the music industry. I worked within the industry for my whole life. That was my American dream, to be on country radio, to put out country music, be on stages. And when the industry decided that guys like me couldn't say what they wanted to say, I had enough of that at some point. And I said, you know what? I want to sing what I want to sing and say what I want to say. And so if that means I got to lose the industry, then I lose the industry. Amen, brother. Well, I think when I made that call, I thought, well, no chance in hell I'll ever have a number one record or number one anything because I don't have the industry anymore. But here's what's happened. We, the people, are standing up and making their voices known. You're putting guys like me at the top of the chart. Thank you very much. Appreciate you. Dan. I have a song that I don't think anybody's heard this one before. This record's full of my favorite songs. I call this a song for socialists. All right, let's see where we're going with this. You want to know what it's called? It's called something for nothing. You everybody wants something for nothing something for nothing from me because every time my phone rings it's just another dangling wanting something for nothing from me. You feel me? I've always been a generous man. I give you the shirt off my back I loan you my toolbox and my good fishing pole I give you riding my old Cadillac but there's only so far my patience will go but there's only so much I can stand of these lazy freeloaders and soft tippy towers wanting something just to fall in their hands. Everybody wants something for nothing all the time. Something for nothing from me. Every time a phone rings, it's just another dangling want something for nothing from me. Now, do unto others as you'd have them do. That's how the old good book reads. But lately they're wanting more than I'm given. And lately I'm giving them more than they need. Well hey, I've saved a whale, built my brother out of jail, kept a forest from getting chopped down. So I think it's funny how when I need somebody, there's never nobody around. Everybody wants something for nothing all the time. Something for nothing from me. Every time a phone rings, it's just another dangling want something for nothing from me. Every time a phone rings, it's just another dangling wanting something for nothing from me. Dude, that's awesome. Thank y'all. What do you think, Dan? I freaking love that song, man. It's a song for socialists that would never make it in this music industry today, John, only a guy like you can record that and go to number one with it. Only you. Well, so the crazy thing that's going on in Nashville is, listen, you've got these kinds of songs that go number one, like mine is right now, like this record is. And the record labels will never sign anybody that says anything like that. Why is that? Well, because they're probably a bunch of socialist bastards. That's probably right. Honestly, nothing like another dingaling. But at the end of the day, remember who you are, people. You're Americans. Yeah, man. Now, what does it mean to be an American? That means we don't like being told what to do. We don't like being shoved around. We don't like having taxation without representation, just like the old boy said. And we stand on the shoulders of the Founding Fathers, the ones that were willing to sign the Declaration of Independence that said, give me liberty or give me death. That is where we're at in 2023. That's how I feel. Yeah, brother. And the music industry be damned, man. They look so obsolete right now and so impotent. My buddy Oliver Anthony coming out with this song. The Richmond north of Richmond. I've been talking to this guy every single day since that song came out, including today. I talked to him. Turned down an $8 million deal from Major record Label. Turned it down. He said, I got a pickup truck with close to 300,000 miles on it. I got a little kid and one on the way. And I said, Why did you turn down $8 million, man? He said, Because I'm not willing to sell my soul to anybody. Okay? So the point is, real patriots are waking up. Real patriots are stepping to the forefront, and you should be one of them. Wherever you are in your life whatever station you have say what's on your mind have no fear liberty or death is still the cry of America. Can I get a hell, yeah. One time? Yeah. Folks, download the album. Go now. The country truth. Please do us a favor. Join this movement. Go to wherever you get your music. Download every song. Send the biggest double barreled middle finger to this woke music industry they have ever seen with these great songs. John, it's been great so far. What's up next? Well, so, Dan, Nashville is not only Music City, it's really the headquarters in the world for songwriters. You can have the best singer in the world, but if they ain't got a great song to sing, who cares? And so the songwriters in this town, they're the real original turbines of creativity that happen for every singer, every song you've ever heard in country music. Somebody had to write that thing. And to me, a blank sheet of paper and a pen is probably the most daunting thing that anybody ever looked at. It's also the most powerful thing that anybody ever looked at. The pages of the Constitution started off as blank sheets of paper until somebody that was inspired put that quill pen back in the day to that hell. The pages of the Bible, there was nothing on them until people started writing. Well, songs are powerful. We call this a culture war. It's a culture war. Well, how do we know if we're winning in the culture war? We only know if we're winning if we're taking land away from the enemy. And I would say being number one tonight is taking a little piece of their property. I got such a oh, they hate it. I tweeted that everywhere. Put it out on truth. Tweeted it all over the place. John number one. He sent me a text, circled that sucker. Number one. I want to be number one all week, though. And tonight is good. I want it all week. Is progress coming up next? Yes. Right? Because it's my favorite song. Oh, man, let it rip. I love Dan Bongino. I love how he tears down on it. John sang this song in his house for me and my wife a while ago. And when I first heard it, it was so catchy. It's one of those earworms that I just couldn't stop it. So I'm really stoked. Looking forward to this one, budy. Well, so I invited my co writers to be here tonight. Two of my longest term friends in this town. They are patriots. They have been around me since the very beginning, back in the Lone Star days. I mean, back all the wayTo the 90s, man, I've known these two, and I have not seen Jeff yet. I hope Jeff's here, but if Vicky Mcgeehey is here, I'd like to call her up. Vicky and Jeff. If Jeff's here, too. This is Vicky McGee from the great state of Oklahoma. She's kind of shy, but, man, this one the greatest songwriters ever. Walked through Nashville. Have a seat, Vic. Have a seat. Hey, Vicki. Vicki, is Jeff here? Did he make it see out playing somewhere. He's speaking at the RNC tonight. Well, I should have told him that Ronald McDaniel's an absolute rat. He would not have gone to that. Vicki. So we're going to play a song that you and I wrote together called progress. Yes. And so you come from Shawnee, Oklahoma. Little town in Oklahoma. We've known each other since we wrote here for the party for Gretchen Wilson. We wrote hicktown for Jason Al Dean. We wrote that song together. All these great songs. How does it feel when you see a song like progress hit the top of the charts? Well, I remember correctly, you called me from a Lowe's parking lot and said that you were pissed off about the price of lumber and you had a chorus and you were saying, I need to write this now. And so you said, quit everything you're doing, come meet me and let's write this song. And what are your thoughts on Joe Biden? I have no thoughts on him. Funny, neither does he. He doesn't have any thoughts on himself. Rotting oatmeal braids spaghettio braids Biden. You're right. He don't have thoughts on Joe Biden either. He don't even know who Joe Biden is. We got a hum on stage, so pull that hum. So we should play the song that we put out last year. We went number one for two weeks. You know who number two was when progress was out? Lizzo. She probably could have been number one if she wasn't out doing terrible things to her. Mean, it was number one for two weeks. Lizzo was number two. Harry Styles was in there and Beyonce was in there. Do you know how bad it upsets the music industry when they spend millions of dollars on a song and some joker like me shows up and knocks them out? Oh, it's the greatest thing. John we got to give a shout out to the chat we got right now. 36,700 people watching. Hey, that's a big show. That is a huge concert. Thank you guys for joining. Pass the word on social media. Spread that link. Tell them we're live right now. Let's get this thing up to 100,000, man. Yeah, baby. Let's do it. Alright, so here's the song I wrote with my good friend Vicki. She's a patriot. Sweetest person you ever met in your life, I'll tell you that. There's a hole in this country where it's hard used to be and old glory is divided on fire in the street they say building back better will make America great if that's a wave of the future all I've got to say is stick your progress where the sun don't shine keep your big mess away from me and mine, if you leave us alone, well, we'd all be just fine. Stick your progress where the sun don't shine. Pretty good, Vicky. They invite the whole world to come live in our land and leave our countrymen dying in Afghanistan. They say, let go of Jesus, let government save. And you can have back your freedom if you do what we say. Stick your progress where the sun don't shine keep your big mess away from me and mine if you leave us alone well, we'd all be just fine stick your progress where the sun don't shine. They shut down our pipelines and they shut down our voices, shut down our main streets and they shut down our choices. They bend us all over. But it's all over now because we figured it out. Yeah. We ain't backing down. Y'all help me. Sing it. Stick your progress with sun don't shine keep your big mess away from me and mind if you leave us alone will we all be just fine? Stick your progress where the sun don't. Vicky McGee here, y'all. Thank you, Vicki. Dude, that song is a banger, man. Thank you so much for that one. I love that song. You can't get that "Stick your progress" thing out of your ear when you hear it, man. That's an earworm, isn't it, folks? Download the album, please. The Country Truth. Let's send a message. Support Johnny Rich. This guy does great work for America. We love him. So what's up next for us? If you got a drink, hold it high in the air, ladies and gentlemen. There you go. Welcome to the Redneck Riviera, where freedom is alive and we respect it. It's an honor to be in this room tonight, sit here and play some country music for you with my buddy, Dan, and know that everybody in this room is on the same page. They want to see America come back and come back strong. Can I get a hell, yeah. One time. Drink it down, patriots. Drink it down. Hey, one favor, folks, do me a favor. If you're in the military, just put your hand up a little bit. If you're in the military, you served have served everyone in this room. God bless you. We are in this room performing with this great patriot tonight, freely. And our rights are still our rights because of people like you. Put your asses on the line so that we can do what we do in the greatest country on Earth. So thank you to everyone and also at home watching, everyone who served. Thank you so much. Johnny. Yes, sir. Yeah, we got some active duty military from Fort Campbell in the crowd tonight. Actually, we got the real McCoys here. So you all remember in 2020 when all hell broke loose on the pandemic and they lied to us on every single level and made us wear face diapers into the grocery store and on the airplanes. And then Joe Biden said, hey, you got to get the vaccine or you can't keep your job. And all that shit was going on. Y'all remember that all too well, right? Too well. Too well. Did that feel like America to you at that point? Me either. And I was sitting in my house here in Nashville. All the concerts got canceled, nowhere to go. Even the school is saying, hey, your kids have to put this mask. I said, My kids ain't wearing that damn mask. It ain't happening. And they never did, by the way. Yeah, man, but all that was going on. And simultaneously, this exact bar, the Redneck Riviera, there was a riot that broke out right here on Broadway in Nashville, where the bricks were flying through my glass, breaking all my bottles, smashed this building up one side and down the other. Remember seeing all the riots that burned our country down? Yeah, man. So that's also going on at the same time. And for a guy like me, I'm looking out the window, going, Where am I right now? I mean, this does not look like humanity to me. It definitely don't look like America, but it didn't even look like humanity as far as mean. And so sitting there at my house in Nashville with no shows to do, no business to have, watching my bar get smashed up on TV, I remembered something. And it's the most important thing to remember. Here's the question. Where is God? Where is he? Because when you look at the situation that we were in in 2020, you go, God's done left, man. He ain't here. That's not true. He's right there. He's right there. You don't have to go to a church to talk to God. You don't have to go to a priest to talk to God. You can talk to Him anytime you want to, day or night. That's the real story of him. Right. So I was thinking that, and I had this thought in my head of an old World War II guy sitting behind one of them old CBS dan, you know, the old big ones that stick up like yeah, yeah. And like, the old guy sitting behind, and he pushes the button down, and he goes, earth to God, come in, God. Like an SOS to God. Earth to God. Come in, God. Like, earth is hailing God. That thought entered my mind, and I said, I got to write that down. And in about 45 minutes, man, I wrote this song, and it's become honestly, I've written over2000 songs now. Like you said, I've had hits on all kinds of people. This particular song, I think, without a doubt, is one of the most powerful things that I was ever inspired to write. It's called Earth to God, and I think we still need it right now. So this is on the country truth, right? Tear it up. Tear it up. Earth to God. Come in, God. I know you're there hearing our prayers. Wherever you are, we need you now to send your love down. Take away the pain in Your holy name we ask this now we need your light we need your love to heal the world you made and save us now and our darkest down with your amazing grace earth to God, we're holding on not for long can you pull us all close to the Holy Ghost? And keep us strong? We need your light we need your love to heal the world you made and save us now in our darkest town with your amazing grace here is the God. Wow. I never heard that one before. Thank you, guys. John, the Chat is blowing up over that song. They were really band. You got to see it's on fire. They really love that. That is an amazing song. 37,400 people listening to that. That is incredible. That's an important message. I want all Americans to know. Listen, we all watch the news. We all see what's going on in our country. It feels like it's completely out of our control. And honestly, it probably is to a certain degree. And you wonder where God is. Is he still there? Amen, sister. He is. You got to reach out to Him. He'll call you right back. I promise you. He'll answer the phone line when you reach out to Him. And I want everybody to remember that. Listen, the country's in a bad shape. I have a feeling between now and this election, it's going to get even worse. Don't lean on your friends, don't lean on your family. Lean on the boss. Lean on the Creator, the one that made you in the first place. That's what that song is about. Lord and Savior, Jesus. I'm so glad you gave testimony there, John, that matters. You got 30 plus thousand people listening to that right now. And I think we'd all agree what John's saying is spot on. This culture war, the heart of the whole thing is a detachment from those higher values. When you have higher values and you believe in God given civil liberties for everyone, there's an emergency break on your behavior. But when you're a leftist divorce from all that, nothing stops you from doing evil things to other people. That's what makes you different from them. That is our movement. Be proud of that. Everybody in this movement, black, white, Islam, Judaism, Christianity, everybody's welcome in this movement because we believe in your God given rights. That is ours. That is ours. It's not theirs. And it's songs like that that move people. John. That was Dan Bongino preaching on the mic at Redneck Riviera Pentecostal. Man, you inspired. That's a great song. That's the only one I hadn't heard on the album and I just had a moment, man, I swear, that was great. This record, the country truth, it took me years to write these songs. There is no nonsense on the record. Every single song on it has a purpose and a meaning. Listen, I grew up in a double. Wide trailer in Amarilla, Texas. I have a high school diploma, and that's the extent of my pedigree. Can I get a hell, yeah. Come on. Nothing fancy with me, but I love my country. And I have absolutely no fear of the enemy whatsoever in this country. And they are in our country right now. No fear. No fear whatsoever. They should fear us. They should be the ones on the run, not us. They should be the ones worried about what we're going to do next. And I think right now we're seeing a cultural movement in this country that says, hey, we love our country. We love our freedom. And if you got a problem with that, then I guess we're going to put you on your heels about right now from the redneck riviera. That's the way I feel it right. I was on my heels last night in the redneck riviera. Dan, let me ask you a question. Yeah, brother. You've been doing this a long time. Have you seen a shift in the attitude of the patriotic Americans in this country as of late? Yeah, I have know I always say you all listen to my show. We got a few listeners in here. I've seen it. What do I say all the time? That it just isn't bad enough yet for everyone else. But we're getting there quick. But it's people like you. I just want you to remember, as my good friend Ginny Thomas said one time to me, don't ever forget this. We are the leaders we've been waiting for. Don't wait for someone else. You're it. You Tag. You're it. Take some inspiration from John's music tonight and go out and do the do. Don't just talk. Do stuff. Change the world, man. Make an impact. Anything you can do. Run for office, volunteer for someone. Spread the music around. Build that parallel economy. There's a bright future tomorrow. We are sending a huge message, folks. Download the album. It's called The Country Truth by the great John Rich. We got more music for your head. John, you mind if I take a quick break here? Have had a son. It's our last break, folks. How many active duty military or veterans do we have in this bar right now? Raise your hand. Look at the hands going up. Look at the hands. We'd like to thank you for your sacrifice and thank you for your service to our country. You're the only reason the right to pursue happiness is still a thing in this country. And that's what we're doing tonight, is pursuing our happiness. Can IGet a yeehaw out of this rowdy crowd one time? One gentleman in particular I'd like to identify. He likes to stay behind the scenes. He don't like to get a spotlight or nothing like that. And that's exactly why I'm going to tell you who he is. Good buddy of mine named John Clement is sitting right over here at this table at the front. John Clement. Now, I don't know that I have all your stats correct, sir, but for many years, you flew combat chopper missions in Iraq, flying into the most dangerous parts of the entire world, running that chopper, picking our boys up when they're half shot up, getting them the hell out of there. Over and over and over again, and he's still working on behalf of some great patriots. That's a real McCoy right there. Thank you, John. God bless you, brother. Thank you. We got members here, not only in the crowd, but we got a guy working here tonight that's active duty, fort Campbell, Kentucky, right up the road. They're in the room tonight looking out for our safety. Thank you, sir. The great thing about country music is we get to write songs about real situations, about real people, places that we go, people that we meet. That's country music. At least it used to be. It still is to me. They can bend country music up however they want to, but I know what country music sounds like, and so do you, right? You know what? So my granddaddy papa, Rich, we all remember our grandparents. You remember how your granddaddy was that he'd tell you the same story a hundred times in a row every time you run. He had, like, three stories, and he'd always tell you one of them stories, right? But you were glad to hear it again. Of course, it's your know, sit down, I'll tell you a story. Well, it's one of these three. Well, this was one of those stories with me and my granddaddy papa, Rich. Here was the story. He said, I was 17 years old, living in Glasgow, Kentucky, and this train always rolled through our town when I was growing up, and it was loaded down with fertilizer and farm implements and stuff that we needed for the town. But when World War II broke out, same train is running through Glasgow, except now it's loaded down with caskets. And I remember in those caskets were my uncles, my cousins, kids. I worked in the tobacco fields with people I grew up with. And he said to me, I was so mad that I couldn't go fight because I was only 17. He said, I asked my older sister to act like she was my mother and walked me down to the recruitment office and told him I was 18 and sided me up when I was actually 17 and I got into the US. Army. He said, now, when I got in there, they realized how vicious I was. Now, let me tell you about this guy. He's the guy that if you said, hey, Bill, shoot that squirrel, his answer would have been left eye or right eye. Five foot, 2120 pounder. Little guy gets into the US. Army, they realize he's vicious. He will do anything. And they said, oh, we have a job for you. It's called being a tunnel rat. I don't know if you know what a tunnel rat is if you don't go look it up. But the tunnel rats were the Americans that they would send into the caves in Kawajaline and Okinawa and all the islands around Japan. Their job was to crawl in this little hole and flesh the Japanese out the other side of the hole. So he did that for two years. And when he got back home, he had six Purple Hearts at that point and was hooked on morphine for two years after he got home. And he lived to be 80 years old. He became a farmer and lived to be 80 years old. All right, so I wanted to put this song on this record, on the country truth, because the record is what I say it is. It's the country, by God truth. It's the truth about our country. This is about my granddaddy. But I want you to think about the pictures that hang on your walls, in your houses, of your grandparents and the ones that came before you, the shoulders you're standing on. This is one of my greatest regrets, man, I should have written this song down when the old man was alive. About a month after he died, I wrote this song. I just couldn't stop thinking about it. I dedicate this to all of our active duty, all of our vets, the boys and girls overseas in harm's way at this exact second and the 13 and beyond that never came back from Afghanistan. They will never be forgotten. This song is called The Man. Well, he was one of the millions who signed up to defend us long ago in 1941. And when they suckered punches. And Pearl Arbor. He fought under MacArthur 17 with an army Thompson gun. Well, he stormed a lot. Of beaches, slept in jungles with the Leeches. He saw things a young man should never see. And when they shot him in the shoulder, he got back up and he marched forward. Left a lot of brothers dead in kawhi Julain. And if it wasn't for the good Lord and the man, there wouldn't be breath of freedom in this land. When I see people on my TV taking shots at Uncle Sam, I hope they always remember why. They can cause we'd all be speaking German or living under the flag of Japan if it wasn't for the good Lord and the man if it wasn't for the good Lord and when they sucker past us and Pearl Arbor he fought under MacArthur 17 with an army Thompson gun. That was special, brother. Folks, thank you all. That was special. You know, I know, again, a lot of you listen to show and you may have heard the story before, but my whole family's life was changed when my uncle was killed in Vietnam. He was shot in the back south of Thu Duck. He received the Bronze Star with a V device for valor. He was a brave man. Gregory Ambrose. And we owned a bar growing up, Gibby's Bar. That was my grandfather's nickname, was Gibby. And the day my uncle was supposed to come home, the day he was supposed to come home, they had the whole bar decked out. Welcome home, Greg. He didn't show up, but two people from the army did. And my grandmother was upstairs because we lived above the bar. My family and my grandfather saw them and he knew right away. And they said, we have to because it wasn't his father that my grandmother had remarried and he knew it was going to break my grandmother. So he said, you can't tell them that. You can't go upstairs. And they said, we have to deliver it to the mother. We can't give it to you. We have to give it to the mother. And my grandmother was never the same. Never the same. My grandmother died with a broken heart. And on a night like tonight, all these people watching and with a hero like this guy next to me and all these heroes in the room, you gentlemen, I want you to know that you matter, man. You freaking matter. Like, we love what you do. God bless you. That song is so powerful, brother. And it know when they say all gave some, but some gave know that matters. And that is a special song, man. God bless you for writing that. Great job, John. Thank you so much. Thank you, Dan. So what do we got next? Well, basically what I'm doing tonight is I'm playing every song on the album acoustic here at the Redneck Riviera. You know, I thoughtThat'd be fun, right? My question is, are you having a good time so far? I got some of my buddies here. Cash Patel is here. Devin Nunez is here. A big thank you for them, by the way, at the True Social Team for promoting this event tonight, too. If you guys have an account on True Social, you love it. You're darn right. So thank you to them, Cash and Devin. So I'm glad you brought that up because the last thing I want to do is use Communist YouTube or whatever Elon's doing with Twitter. I don't know. Maybe he's better the jury's out, I don't know. But I tell you what I can trust. I can trust True Social and I can trust Rumble, rumble, rumble, baby. Yes. So we put the video on Rumble true social tonight. Devin Nunez, Cash and the boys are pressing this thing down. We're showing America what we're capable of doing tonight. Man, behind this little record, it is astonishing. There are all kinds of pissed off record execs right now, looking at itunes going, who's number one? How is this even possible? We don't own this guy. Oh, we should have kept him a little bit longer. Yeah, well, Tough Teddy said the mama kitty the milk's gone dry and 37,000 strong still watching. Man. Heard all of that. Alright. So as I was watching inflation blow up through the roof and gasoline was approaching $5 a crack, I sat down with my friend Vicky Mcgeehe, who was up here a little bit earlier, and my budy Jeff Steele. And I said, can you even believe what stuff costs right now? This is insane. And he goes, yeah, it's a total disaster. I mean, it's shocking to go to the grocery store and a dozen eggs cost eight $9 or something like that. I said yeah. A dime ain't worth a nickel anymore and Vicki said, oh, that's a song right there. A dime ain't worth a nickel anymore so on the record, on the country truth, I recorded this song and I called in the Oak Ridge Boys to sing behind me on this track. You know, Giddy up, Oom papa moon papa mao mouth how. Sing it. Yes, the Oak Ridge Boys, the greatest American quartet of all time, they're singing background on this track. You are going to absolutely love it. So the song is called A Dime Ain't Worth a Nickel. Vicki. You ready, Will? A dime ain't worth a nickel a dime ain't worth a nickel a dime ain't worth a nickel anymore I said diam ain't worth a nickel come on. Diam ain't worth a nickel diamond worth a nickel anymore well, it was hard to tell the kids we'd have to skip family vacation and it's hard getting ahead in this ass backward situation and I could work another hole right through my boots but what good would it do? Calls a dime ain't worth come on. A dime ain't worth a nickel diamond worth a nickel anymore let me hear you sing it. I said a dime ain't worth a dime ain't worth a nickel. Dime ain't worth a nickel anymore. Well, we push our grocery carts right past the name brands on the shelf because we can't afford the good stuff because our country's gone to hell and the big guys on the beach in Delaware. But he don't care that a dime ain't worth a nickel. A dime ain't worth a nickel dime ain't worth a nickel anymore. Y'all sing it to me now. I said diam ain't worth yeah, diam ain't worth a nickel diam ain't worth a nickel anymore. And we'll keep on keeping on because keeping on is what makes us great. You can bet we'll never bend, we'll never bow, we'll never break. Gotta cinch it up and tie down and pull your family close and keep on smiling even though well, a dime ain't worth a nickel. Come on. A dime ain't worth a nickel. Hey, a dime ain't worth a nickel anymore. Come on, redneck riviera. I said a dime ain't worth a nickel. A dime ain't worth a nickel. Diam ain't worth a nickel anymore. You know a diam ain't worth a nickel anymore ain't worth a nickel hemmy diamond worth a nickel anymore. Acapella, let me hear you sing it. Say, a dime ain't worth a nickel. What said a dime ain't worth a nickel loud dime ain't worth a nickel anymore. Hell, yeah. We're alive at the redneck riviera mac. Y'all sound good. I got to put you on the record, man. How about that? Dan, we got a sing along. So Chris Chris from Rumble. The CEO of Rumble is texting me right now. He can't believe how much this is blowing up. He says, this is a massive audience for a Saturday night. Almost 40,000 people watching. He's like, man, he said, think about it. You got an entire, like, football stadium right now watching at home with you in the room. Thank you so much. I even got Teresa texting me from right there, telling me how great this is. She's like, this is so amazing. I'm like, I already got musicians texting. Me, too. They wanted to do it again for them. This is so much fun. But, folks, it's all about you. This is I'm telling you, the Relaxium Lady too. You know it. Do you know it? I love you right there. You're the best. I'm telling you. Where's me we need relaxium lady here. This is the biggest double barreled middle finger to the music industry we have ever seen. Number one, the country truth. Buy it. Buy every single song. Tell your friends, and you'll get all this amazing, amazing music. That song is dan. It seems like you're having a good time. Come on, man. We're, like, texting each other dan bongino not have a cocktail sitting in front of him right now. Somebody listen. I'm still drunk from last night. Granny Rich Reserve. Redneck Riviera on ice. Okay? I'm not singing another song to this man as a cocktail. All right, I'll do it. Bring it up. Vicky bacardi. He's like, yeah, here we go. What is that? That looks like something that Brad Paisley would be drinking. I would not drink that. I would not drink that. Alright? If you drink that, you'll wind up in Ukraine shaking hands with Delicious. All right, here we go. Here we go. I wouldn't do that. Is that some Redneck Riviera whiskey right there? All right, we'll take oh, there's a real drink. Let me see. Hold your drinks high in the air. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our bar tonight. What a great night. I will tell you that Redneck Riviera whiskey is now in over 10,000 stores across this great country. Yeah, baby. We've given 10% of our profits from the bar, from the whiskey, from the boots, and everything else back to the Folds of Honor, which is a group that puts kids through college who lost their parents in combat. And since 2018, Redneck Riviera has now sent $1.6 million back to the Folds of Honor, thanks to you. So on account of three give me a hell yeah, America. One, two, three. Hell yeah. Cheers, brother. Drinker down, folks. Let me tell you, that's some damn good whiskey, too. A little too good. I was drinking last night with Nunes and Cash in a bar, and Paula downstairs and Devin says to me tonight, yeah, I went home a little banged up. And Devin's like, bro, you were putting those things down like it was a water fountain last that'll happen. It was good stuff. And the boots wait, paula, show everyone your boots. Can we see the boots? Look at these boots. These are John's boots. Hold my guitar, Dan, if you don't mind. I'll show him my boots. Check these boots out. We got redneck riviera boots. They're patriotic boots. Let's look at them. Model them boots. Model them boots. Paula makes any show look good. Look at us. Anytime. I bring Paula on the show, everything. We got girls boots, too. Red. You can go to redneck. Riviera. And by the way, I mention it because John is kind enough to donate substantial amounts of money to Folds of Honor from a lot of the proceeds there, which is an amazing organization. Our website is, I think, Foldsofhonor.org. It's an amazing, amazing place. So if you can help them out, they help put kids through college. So, Dan, there's a budy of mine in the bar tonight named Greg Mosing. He's an old coon ass from Louisiana. Old coon ass cajun, man. This guy's one of the biggest patriots I've ever met in my life. He started his own business, his familyBusiness, did very well with it. And he's got a jet, man. He's actually got his own fancy. He's a fancy Cajun. But this guy lets people use his jet that are pushing patriot causes. So he handled Carrie Lake over and over and over out in Arizona. God bless you, brother. He's flown around don, Jr. And Eric and me. Any of us that need to go out here and push for patriotic causes, he did it. And I just got a message from my friend Vicki. You said that Greg said he would like to buy a pair of Redneck Riviera boots for anybody in this crowd that wants to get a pair. All you got to do is put your name down in your side. Is that right? Greg? Where are you? Where is Greg right now? Oh, there he is right there. Stand up, Greg. He wants to hook you up with some boots, folks. That's a great guy right there. Wow. That's a real McCoy. Give me a little more guitar if you can. You guys having a good time? So. I love Johnny Cass. Do you love Johnny Cass? I hope so. Hell, yeah. We love Johnny Cash. I would go so far as say, if you don't like Johnny Cash, you're in the wrong damn bar right now. Come on. So I think Johnny Cash was the greatest singer songwriter that ever lived on planet Earth, short of King David writing psalms. Johnny Cash. That's it. And so I love him so much, I actually named my first son Cash. So, yes, ladies, his name is Cash Rich. That boy is set. He's good. So there's a song on this record, The Country Truth, that is my nod to Johnny Cash, actually. This song is close to 20 years old. It's never been recorded or put out until the Country Truth. And I wrote this song when Johnny Cash was doing his last record. They said he's going to do one more record. And so I put my mind into the Johnny Cash world because I loved him so much. My ultimate hero in country music. I wrote this song hoping it would wind up on his record. It didn't. I don't think you ever heard it, but it's one of my favorite songs. It's called bad, bad thing. Bad, bad things baby 38,000 watching right now. How can something that feels this good be a bad, bad thing? She's got me doing things I thought I never would oh, and that's a bad, bad thing but I want what I want when I want it and that thing that I need lord, she's got it so how can something that feels is good be a bad, bad thing? Bad, bad thing bad, bad thing I'm captured by a fever burning me oh, and that's a bad, bad thing but the truth is I don't want to be set free oh, and that's a bad, bad thing all I know is I'd go crazy without it there ain't no maybe you're probably about it. How can something that feels this good be a bad, bad thing? A bad, bad thing a bad thing a bad, bad thing be a bad thing god bless Johnny Cash. That's my ode to Johnny Cash. I love me some Johnny Cash, man, I tell you, man, I watch that movie Walk the Line sometimes. I always get a little bit choked up. Man, he tore it up. That cat can sing, too. That actor, he ain't too bad. Joaquin, man, he can sing. He wasn't too bad. Reese Witherspoon, I don't know, not so much. But he could sing. You like that movie? Walk the lie. That was a good movie, right? That guy could act, man. Dan, you should talk for a minute because I'm sounding boots right now. All right, so, folks, I really deeply appreciate you all coming out. The chat is up to 38,800 people watching this right now. When we first decided we were going to do this, we weren't sure what the response was going to be. And now the response has been so overwhelming. Now the only question is when the are we going to do it again? That's the only we got to do. We got to do it again. The country truth. Buy it, pick up the album today, wherever you get your music, itunes, whatever, buy all the songs. Let's send the music industry a message that it's our party now. Now you can't leave. This is ours. Number two. We have breaking news. Charlie, what's the breaking news? So we're number one in country. Number two, all genres right now. Number one in country. Number two overall, almost there. But we got one more spot to go. One more spot. Please get us to number one. I just want to do this and send this message tonight so we can do it. Billy, you can do it. Can I play another one, Dan? What's that? Play another song. I got a couple more songs to play. I want to hear it, brother. I may want an encore one too. This next song I'm going to play is probably my favorite song I've ever written because I wrote it about my two kids, about my sons. So I want to ask, how many moms and dads do we have in the crowd right now? And I know watching online right now, a lot of people throwing their hands up. Yes. You see the attack that's going on in our kids in this country right now? Does anything make you more angry than to see somebody coming for your kids? Right? Come for me all you want. You're coming for my kid. Different story. There's no fear left when they come for your kids. None. And they don't understand that. You know why they have enough balls to come after our kids? Because they don't have kids themselves, most of them. And they try to knock the kids out before they're ever even born in this country. They have no touchstone to what it means to be a mom or to be a dad. It's a serious subject in this country right now. Our kids are numero uno. They are the reason that we actually put our fists up and go to war every day in this country. So I was sitting out on a big and rich show in the afternoon in a hotel, killing time, waiting for the big and rich show. And I'm watching the local news in this town and I see this news story of a guy that gets killed in a car wreck. Dan gets killed in a car wreck. It's local news. They said yes. He leaves behind four children and his wife and his kids were like under twelve years old, all four of them. And I thought to myself, man, I'm running up and down the road in tour buses. Anything could happen at any minute. Is there something I could leave behind that if something happened to me. Unexpectedly that I would want my two sons to hear what would be my letter to them, like, the most important things I could possibly tell them if they were never able to talk to me again. That is the inspiration behind this next song. This song's never been out. I'm going to put it out on Father's Day next year. I'm going to make it a big deal. But this song is called My Son. My son my love for you is wide and deep and tough and true and unconditional for you my son, my son, my son, my life has changed the second that I saw your face I knew I'd never be the same, my son. And I pray you hold the good Lord. I can walk with Jesus all your life. Remember, son, he's just a prayer way this world can turn as dark as night and try to steal it. To its side. But always walk back to the light, my son. And I pray you hold the good Lord tight and walk with Jesus all your life. Remember, son he's just a prayer away, my son. Remember as you grow into a man and let me go. I'll remain your cornerstone, my son. I'll always be right there for you, my son. I'll always be your father. Son. My son. Wow. Thank you all. That's an incredible song. So, John, you and I were chatting a bit on my radio show yesterday and on the podcast, and I asked you a question I think a lot of people in the audience probably have for you, too. You've obviously got there's something in you. God gave you this gift and you can kind of see and feel music in ways other people can. It'sKind of know no different than a mathematician. He just sees numbers different than everyone else. So when a song's in your head like you were talking with Vicki about Lumber got, like, what comes to you first? Is it the chorus? Is it a sound? Is it like some guitar? Like, how does that work? Because I'm not musically talented at know, it comes in all kinds of ways. I mean, songwriting listen, you could be the best singer in the world. If you ain't got a great song, what the hell is the point? I mean, you have to have a great song. Nashville is the headquarters of songwriters in the world. They come in from London and Sydney and everywhere. They all come to Nashville to try to write a great song. I mean, it's really a craft in this town. And what's cool about it is you never master it. You never master it. I mean, Bobby Braddock, who's a name you should go look up, he wrote "He Stopped Loving Her Today" for, you know, and you're never going to beat that song. Just never. So you always know there's a next level you can get to. But I will tell you, that a blank sheet of paper. A blank sheet of paper and a pencil are the two most powerful things, in my opinion, that exist, because the poorest person in the world can still get their hands on a blank sheet of paper and a pencil and put anything on it that they want to. The government can't stop them. Their family can't stop them. Their business can't stop them. If you think about blank paper in the past. Dan the Constitution of the United States started out as blank sheets of paper until inspired people took a quill pen and started writing "we the people of the United States in order to form a more perfect union." And they continued on the pages of the Bible, also blank sheets of paper. So I look at songwriting as a real responsibility. It's a way that you can put things on a piece of paper that might affect a lot of people. It might affect your whole country, your life. It might affect the world if it's really that important of a song. Songwriting is numero uno, so they come in all forms. To answer your question, sometimes it's a melody, sometimes it's a phrase. Sometimes it's both at the same time, but it's always inspired every single time, and it's a privilege every time a good song goes down on a piece of paper. Yeah, man, I would wonder, because I have no songwriting abilities whatsoever. I'm always singing. My voice sucks, but my wife's kind enough to lie to me all the time. She's like, oh, you sound great. Meanwhile, it's horrible. I've been singing John songs and Oliver Anthony all weekend. I can't get that. That's another earworm song there. When you first heard that, did you know that was going to be a banger? The first time I heard Oliver Anthony, I looked at that like everybody else. And a guy here's a guy who is basically ripping his rib cage open and showing you every single section of his soul and body, and he sounded tired, he sounded shredded, he sound exhausted, he sound pissed off, he sound angry. He sounded sad. And I listened to him. And I think the reason that song hit so big is because that's how Americans feel. I think Americans feel shredded and exhausted and angry and sad. I think we all feel like that, regardless if you're Republican or Democrat. Americans in general know that something is not right in our country right now. They're having the hell kicked out of them every time they turn around. And when Oliver Anthony comes with this song, Richmond, north of Richmond, when they heard that and they heard the way he sounded and how he looked and the lyrics to the songs, it hit it right on the money, man. There's people all over that don't even listen to country music buying that guy's song. Here's an interesting thing. If everything goes well and we hold our number one spot from tonight forward, and I think we will. Oliver Anthony will have the number one song, and I'll have the number one record in America, and neither one of us have a record deal. Neither one. That is unbelievable. That's a big deal. Yeah. You're damn. With no mainstream support from the entertainment industry whatsoever. Matter of fact, them trying to squelch it, doing the opposite, trying to keep it down, and now all these record labels are coming up to Oliver Anthony. Listen, I've been fielding text messages from the heads of major record labels in Nashville that I haven't heard from in five or six years that are blowing up my phone. Hey, I hear you're working with Oliver Anthony. Hey, man. Hey, buddy. I'm like, yeah, what's up? Hey, can you give me some insight on how we can maybe do a deal with Oliver Anthony? I said, Well, I'll tell you right now, if that boy would have walked into your record label and sang Richmond North of Richmond for you, you would have had him escorted out of the building for violating your safe space. That's what you would have done. So why the hell are you texting me? I think the major record labels want to have a capture and kill scenario with him. I think they want to buy him and stick him on a shelf and get him the hell out of the way because he makes them look obsolete, and he makes them look impotent, and they don't know what to do about it. Right now. They're freaking out. He fried their brains. I talked to him this morning. Would you like to know what Oliver Anthony told me this morning? He said to me in a text message, he said, I don't want a music career. I want a music ministry. That's what he said, and he means it. He turned down, I think it was an $8 million contract with somebody. Wow. Who does that? Yeah. No one. If you wonder if there's any hope for humanity, there is. There's a few of us left out here that ain't going to play ball with this crap. There's a future. We just got to hang on to it and hang on to it tight. So I support him a million percent. Man, I know your heart's an incredible guy. I know your heart's an. Thank you for finding him. I only know about Oliver Anthony because Dan Bonzina sent me the video. I shot him a text. Here's the crazy part. So there's like this big Internet conspiracy theory out there that this is an operation. This was some kind of right wing operation, which is freaking hilarious because I'm sitting on my couch on a Thursday planning John's concert. No one else. We're getting this thing going. My wife's busting her butt doing this whole thing. By the way, big round of applause for listen, I'm going to be honest with you, and I want to mention John's team, too. When this went down, john called me and he said, I've got this great idea. I said, Brother, I am 100% in. Why don't we do it on my channel? He was like, yes. But after John and I talked John's team paula, Teresa, Jim, Gee, my producer, Joe and John's entire awesome team, they took it from there. And folks, my fingers and his were off it. He had a plan to music. I had a show to do. And look what they gave you tonight. An amazing show. We've been on an hour and 20 minutes. There's still 37,000 people watching still for an hour and 20 minutes. So your team is awesome. Paula, thank you so much. You really did a great job. Thank you for that recognition. So I'm going to play the last song tonight. This is the last one. This is the song that I put out off of the Country Truth. It's called? I'm offended. This is awesome because I am I'm completely offended, and I know you are, too. I want to thank Dan Bongino Man. He pulled his whole team down to Nashville. He didn't have to do this. He came down, he's trying to back up guys like me. Dan, I certainly appreciate it, man. Dan, anything for you. Thank you so much. I take care of my friends. I want to thank Cash Patel. I want to thank Devin Nunez. I want to thank Truth and Social, True Social, and Rumble for being behind this song. You guys activated all the platforms and put everybody on it. Thank you for doing that.Man, the industry is freaking out right now. They absolutely hate you. Isn't that cool? Thank you. Devin's like, yeah, that's Devin Nunes, the True team and Chris from Rumble, they all work hand in hand in this parallel economy. They did a great job to support this, but it wouldn't have worked without you. So thank you so much. Folks, I've got a couple more people I want to say. My buddy Charlie P is here. Now. Charlie P been with me since 2000. He's the guy that got the music up online and deals with all the industry crap that he has to deal with. Oh, by the way, iTunes decided to label "I'm Offended" as explicit content. So apparently they're offended, which is the point of the song, right? My buddy Geo is here. He's the engineer on this record. He recorded all my vocals, mixed all the tracks. Is Geo still here? There's Geo right there from Detroit, Michigan. He's a patriot right over in the corner. And my buddy Jason Davis from Clarksville, Tennessee, up by Fort Campbell, running all these cameras, set this whole thing up. He's been by my side since day one. Thank you, Jason, for making this look great on the channel. Shall we play the last song of the night, ladies and gentlemen? Shall we do? This song is called "I'm Offended" on the Country Truth.
